That sounds about right. The customer was an idiot and gave the clerk all three ingredients to justify using deadly force.

Nice. Be sure to check out what bullets are available for your intended uses.

They are doing some insanely cool stuff with new bullet designs.

    Monolithic solids, aluminum tipped, etc.

Choice has nothing to do with need and need has nothing to do with right.

I'm simply tracking your constant movement of the goalposts and explaining why you've been wrong etc.

Fear is an emotion, and it's often a useful emotion, and I would say it's indicative of Being human. It's so you're saying conservatives are human, I can infer from that that you're necessarily saying anybody else isn't.

I rejected this as I am not a conservative but I still experience fear.

    I will do that.
Really looking forward to getting my reloading room set back up. It’s been packed up for 3 years now.

No they aren't afraid they know better. They know that every tenth person that they come across in public isn't going to shoot them. If anything these people will probably keep them more safe. They know this.

What seems to be prevalent in this argument about guns and whether or not people should have them has to do with rifles like the AR-15. They don't understand the function of this gun or similar guns. A lot of people buy them because they're cool. But the reason why it's legal to own them has nothing to do with how cool they are. It has to do with them being pretty close to equal with the military infantry weapon. Shut the event occur where we actually do need to exercise our Second Amendment right or our duty, this will be the gun. So it's more representative then anything else. It represents power particularly power for the populace. People who are against gun ownership to any degree are typically City dwellers, and they have become accustomed to their liberties being more restricted, this doesn't really have anything to do with the person that has more to do with the environment because if when you're in your home within 30 ft there's four other people and their homes your liberty to do what you want in your home changes.

Often times for such people they see rebellion as bringing chaos. Basically it's myopic.

Did you get out of CA?
    Back to topic,
    Why Carry a Gun?

I don't carry a gun to kill people; I carry a gun to keep from being killed.
I don't carry a gun because I'm evil; I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the World.
I don't carry a gun because I hate the government; I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government.
I don't carry a gun because I'm angry; I carry a gun so that I don't have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.
I don't carry a gun because I want to shoot someone; I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.
I don't carry a gun because I feel inadequate; I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.
I don't carry a gun because I love it; I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.
Police protection is an oxymoron: Free citizens must protect themselves because police do not protect you from crime; they just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

Im doing the same. I put reloading on hold for about 10 years.

I just came across some .308 I reloaded back then, and it still out shoots everything else.

Good to know it maintains its quality.

Sadly the death toll of the Second Amendment is in millions.

Sadly, too many modern Americans have been desensitized to tragedy by Hollywood movies.

None of these neighborhoods are in Canada and Scandinavia, where all people are provided with basic needs -- food, shelter, medical care. Sadly in USA millions of people are abandoned by Society.

May I change this a little?
That's a rather odd statement, given the irrational fears driving the left

You, your wife, and your kids and grandkids all carry a gun 24/7?

Grandkids are under 21 and cannot yet carry. Wife and daughter have permits and carry when out. They feel it is better to be armed than found in a alley raped and strangled with their own clothing. Make no mistake, I am an instructor and they both have great training and can shoot. We train hundreds of shooters of all ages and genders. BTW, gay and lesbians pay nothing.

It’s unfortunate you all live in an area where there is a great chance for women to be raped and strangled in an alley. One other thing your wife and daughter could do, in addition to carrying, is not venture out alone late night in those areas when no one else is around. Just food for thought.

Gay and lesbians pay nothing? How come?

So your grandkids are in constant danger and fear with no way to protect themselves wherever they go?

Where do you live where it is so horribly dangerous?

The question wasn’t put to me but I would like to comment. We were residents of San Bernardino county California and had our concealed carry permits. While taking our class our elected sheriff came in, took the podium, pointed to the women in the class and said “ tell your mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, granddaughters to buy a gun and get their carry permit. We will do everything in our power to save you, but we will not get there in time. You must protect yourself.”

San Bernardino a real dangerous place? Is it as dangerous as south side of Chicago?

It’s pretty bad, yes. I’ve never been to Chicago so I can’t honestly say.

I work with LE and that is the typical response from a responsible sheriff. Cops have no duty to save you. Their job is to enforce the law.
