"Oh I know, let's talk about each other instead of the subject of the thread. Another hallmark of liberals in here as they lose debates."

You mean a graph I posted showed it — one that you cannot refute — so you resort to stating lies.

Ok, what did I lose again? You cannot dispute a single thing I have stated.
Hard to lose in a discussion when your opponent doesn’t even have an argument.

And the purpose of your graph was to equate the rise in oil production to Obama years policies and give him credit for something he actually opposed. I merely pointed that out. If you had some other purpose such as fun trivia facts I apologise. LOL

GDP growth in 2015 was 2.9% and gas was cheaper.

Good I'm here to debate not argue and from now in I'll consider your charts and graphs just fun facts with trivia instead of assuming you are trying to make some point in debate.

Not to mention total job creation under trump is nowhere near what it was under Obama.

That happens as unemployment rate drops. Companies are having a hard time finding qualified applicants.

The economy under Trump though, is different than Obama's. My experience was that business was stifled by Obama due to his haphazard and pro regulatory state mindset. Businesses were 'afraid' to invest under Obama due to his antipathy for corporations. Trump signaled that change to pro-business.

And I was explaining why the price of gas has gone up since Trump got the economy going. Better economy increases demand.

It isn’t as if Trump actually changed anything, or the trend lines changed.

But in right wing fantasy world, everything changes the day after the election, just by magic.

If solar was cost effective the market would cause homeowners to install solar panels. The last I checked on solar power for my house the ROI would be 15 years for me as an individual. Of course, that assumes that if I put solar panels on my roof they would not be destroyed by weather.

because they think of the old locomotives billowing black sootie smoke... they've no clue just how clean burning coal is now...
perhaps we should call them out as racists for not liking coal because it's black...

They have been told coal is bad and that is that.

In the absence of data by anti-coal types I am inclined to suspect brain washing. It would be nice to see a statement like "coal plants shouldn't operate" backed up by some supporting data, even if rough data.

Any discussion of coal seems to produce a knee-jerk reaction from the global warming crowd who don't seem to grasp that the Carbon released by burning coal was once in the atmosphere to begin with.

Good clean coal. LMAO. Why is it that communities that live near coal plants have higher instances of emphysema and other lung diseases? Yes it is cleaner than it used to be, but republicans are always wanting to lower standards on that just like with pollution in general. And the coal ash is a terrible problem. Duke power, in my state of N.C. has had ash pools break their barriers and dump it in a river. Coal ash has arsenic, lead, mercury along with other things. Guess who paid to clean up that mess? The tax payers. Our governor at the time, Pat McCrory, a republican, was also the CEO of Duke power at one time. So don't give me that "clean coal" BS. I've seen it first hand and it is an antiquated system.

Tell ya what, you go live next to a coal plant I'm just fine where I am.

For a working class stiff who got a job in the last couple of years their boat is floating higher, lifted up. That's also known as simply up.

The short term trend is up.

The short term trend should become a long term trend.
