Nobody gives Trump the worst possible news. The baby will throw a tantrum. My guess is nobody even told him he was behind in the polls.

Kind of like the enthusiasm at rallies for Hitler and Mussolini. Guess every society has it's factions that like to have their hatreds stoked.

Did you catch the videos of the pre-event tailgate parties? The "black" baby barbeques looked good!

One group had a rotisserie with six cooking at once!

I tend to think it's an attack on several fronts, intended to disrupt America from within, which is the only way America can ever be defeated. Each issue on their own might seem trivial but when everything from gender-neutral bathrooms in schools, to wedding cakes, to what hats we can wear (among many others) overwhelms public discourse then the country and culture becomes overwhelmed with trivia, making those who disagree, or who are even ambivalent, homophobic, racist, sexist, etc.

We know that the leaders of groups like Occupy Wall Street were getting paid, as were the leaders of Antifa. The same was probably true of BLM. Then when they stop getting paid a new protest group is formed whose participants are inevitably not very bright when interviewed and really only have a vague idea why they're even participating. The same was likely true of those harassing people in restaurants. It's death by a thousand cuts.

But despite academia, Hollywood and the media many Americans understand what's going on and will do what they can, in a peaceful and democratic way, to maintain the American ideal and its values.

It is all that they have. It makes me wonder why they support a bankrupt ideology which has failed everywhere in the world. Especially when their ideas can only win support through such tactics.

I look at it like it's similar to the New York Yankees haters. America is the best, most powerful, and winningest nation in the world. That attracts haters.

Just like there are plenty of Yankees haters in New York City, there are lots of America haters in the USA. A lot of people just hate dominant winners. Even when it's their own country.

I don't see why I should. I've studied Nazis since I was a child. These people ARE Nazis and somebody should point that out. They are race based authoritarian fascists and that is a Nazi.

And what ideology do you think I'm supporting? I support American Capitalist based Republican Democracy, what we're supposed to have in this country right now.

You people seem to think that enthusiastic crowds are everything. Thousands of people dutifully chanting prescribed slogans in unison scare more people than they attract and fear drives people to the polls more effectively than anything.

What passed for the "progressive" Left in the 1920s and 30s generally supported the Nazis and Fascists until Hitler broke his alliance with the USSR.

Hitler and Mussolini both benefitted from broad support from the "Left", and Nazis often supported the KPD and SPD.

"Similarly the NAZI Deputies generally supported proposals by the parties of the left for increases in the level of expenditures for state welfare aid. They also joined with the left in rejecting demands of the right that a means test be required of applicants for state welfare aid."

"The Nazi's alone supported repeated communist efforts to raise sharply the level of tax exempt wages for low income groups, reduce the tax rates for those groups, and impose heavier taxation on the wealthy." Henry Ashby Turner, Jr., "German Big Business and the Rise of Hitler," Oxford University Press, Oxford 1985, p. 66.

Good book for anyone interested in the rise of the NSDAP in Germany.

So did a lot of Jews. So what?.

And Hitler didn't have any agreement with the Soviets until August 23. 1939 when he signed a non-aggression pact (NOT an alliance, neither side would have expected even populaces as brainwashed as theirs to accept that) which lasted until June of 1941. That was less than 2 years and before that both were at each other's throats nearly constantly

You people are a trip, You don't miss any opportunity to attack anyone not a Trumpist as being a Nazi while refusing utterly to recognize how close the Trumpists are to Nazis themselves.

If you were supporting an "American Capitalist based Republican Democracy", you'd be supporting Trump for President. Maybe you've been studying Nazism for so long that it's skewed your thinking processes, and you now see Nazism in everything.

There is really no similarity between Trump and the Nazis. OTOH, while most leftist are not Communist and Socialist Nazi sympathizers and allies the Nazi regime could not have taken over Germany or started WW II. Read some history - it is not hard to discover the incopnvenient truth.

The details of the Soviet inclusion into the Tripartite Pact were fully negotiated. Finally Stalin sent the following to Hitler on 26 Nov :

"The USSR accepted the German proposal to divide the world into spheres of influence, but with certain changes; the Soviet sphere would extend south of Baku and Batum, that is across Turkish territory, into northern Iran and Iraq. The USSR should have the right to establish a military base on the straits, Turkey should be invited to join the Tripartite Pact, and territorial guarantees should be given jointly by Germany Italy , and the Soviet Union. If Turkey refused the three powers would take the appropriate military and diplomatic measures to safeguard their interests. It also asked that Japan renounce its claims to coal and oil deposits on Sakhalin Island, and that Bulgaria become part of the Soviet sphere, and sign a mutual assistance pact with the Soviet Union."

These were the conditions the socialist Soviet Union proposed for agreeing to the Nazi plan to divide up the world" Utopia In Power, Heller and Neckrich, pp 358,359

Much more has been released since Utopia In Power was published. Apparently there were many secret agreements that were even more nauseating.

Here is another little known detail of Stalin/Hitler's joint efforts:

..." at the beginning of October 1939, the Soviet government proposed that the Germans build a naval base for themselves thirty-five miles northwest of Murmansk." "The Germans used 'Base Nord' ...during their campaign against Norway." Utopia In Power, Heller and Neckrich, p. 354.

    Wake up or repeat history.

    I don't care what you're ideology is.

The Trump/Hitler comparisons are moronic, idiotic, and just plain stupid. My advice is that you stop pushing that idiocy. It just makes the poster look like a clown.

Another poster keeps pushing the retarded Trump/Putin comparison. That's moronic, too.

I wish that you guys would hope to be taken seriously, rather than apparently wanting to be laughed at.

I support Capitalist based Republican Democracy, not authoritarian plutocratic ethnic fascism. Naziism was founded in America and has been an undercurrent in our history nearly from the beginning. I see what's there. Maybe you need to remove the red, white and blue blinders. This country is truly beautiful to behold, but if you try to hide the ugly parts they'll just take over the whole picture

Trump is very unique. Imagine a combination of Jackson, Lincoln, Lenin and Calvin Coolidge. ;-)
