There is truth in what you say

I know our system of government is not perfect

It never was and never will be

And it seems to be getting worse

    Too many Americans are apathetic

And for those who we are often uninformed or misinformed

But as long as we remain a reasonably open society there is hope

Now you are admitting you were for, as you say today, destroying America and its workers.
    I never was for that.
    I voted for Perot.
And now, you want to destroy the world's economies. Why? Do you really think those Chinese jobs are coming back to the USA? There are countless other countries that have lower cost labor they will move to.
Unless those jobs come back at $7.00/hr our equivalent.

I don't need your type to ruin America yet 1 more time. Stay out of it. You've proven to not be credible in knowing how to MAGA. Just like tRUMP.
If you did care about America, you'd have voted Perot, like I did.

Pretty much, you are admitting to following party BS, not thinking for oneself.
Partisan politics is bad for America.
It's why I am not affiliated with either party. Join the real American. Leave the party(s).

Americans here lecture us about immigration law, refuegee handling, doing not enough for our defense, telling us that we become soon a caliphate, being too Russia friendly with North Stream 2, the evil EU ... etc. and in short: You want to lecture us all the time what is good and bad at us!
And more as that, you also think that you have the right to do so AND that all others have to follow your will!

And btw ... this topic is also ours!

Ehm ... what? Of course is China the topic?

What is over the place? That Apple has a wild card to be excluded from trade war by Trump ... as is Ivanka Trump and her business?

Free trade is an idea that has been tried and proven not to work for America

The idea had some merit in 1990 but not anymore

As for the rest of your post - its bullshit

Your personal attacks on me will get you nowhere since you are now on the wrong side of the free trade debat

Because instead of supporting trump and his efforts to balance trade you are against him

    Too bad

America needs more people resisting globalism

“Here” being an Emblish languae forom based in the United States that you wandered into

If germany had german language forums dedicated to german issues and you caught me there lecturing you about whatever topic being discussed you ould have a valid complaint

But that didnt happen, did it?

    BS
Free trade is always proven to work.
You just cowtow party BS. And tRUMP isn't even spouting party BS. I think more D's actually agree with his isolationism than RWers.

I knew 25 yrs ago, Perot was correct.
But after 25 yrs, we've recovered and are now on strong economic footing.
Those jobs will not come back here, AS I Said. There are other 3rd world countries that will pick up those jobs at a lower cost than China.
Unless those jobs come back here at sub $10/hour wages.

Globalism is here to stay. The world, through technology, shrinks everyday.

We can lead, as we have in the past, follow, or sit it out. Either way, globalism is the future of the world.

If you can't use an Emblish languae forom, we are going to need to find the oranges of this problem.

    You are mistaken as usual

Trade with mexico, china and other poor countries is not free trade

You are driving a stake through the American lower middle class factory workers

I didn't support the NAFTA or other trade deals. You admitted you did.
I voted Perot, against sticking it to the middle class.
Don't blame everyone else for your mistakes.

Yes I supported NAFTA in the beginning

But I was wrong and have changed my position since then

Now you are supporting globalism and I’m not

So you are the problem not me

I am the future. You wrecked many Americans future with your support.
    America recovered.
Now, 25 yrs later, the world is tiny. Globalism is how business is now done. It is how it will be in the future as the world shrinks even further.

Lead, follow, or sit out the growth in globalism. Either way, it will march forward.
I choose to be in the lead. You choose to sit out.

You were wrong 25 yrs ago, I was correct.
    I am correct today.

How am I anti globalist and globalist at the same time?
Most of the world is anti tRUMP, but that has nothing to do with the world being a global economy for the duration of humanity.

You are proudly waving the unconfirmed report that you voted for Perot when others didnt

That was a vote against globalism

Yet now you sing the praises of cheap imported junk that puts Americans out of work

That was over 25 yrs ago when Perot ran.
Yes, 25 yrs ago, I wanted the jobs to stay in America.
But they didn't, they left. And now we have full recovery. We are basically at full employment. UE is around 3.5%.

And those jobs that left, as I told you several times already, won't come back to USA if China loses them. There are still many low income countries that will get them.
If any come back, they sure won't be high paying jobs.

You on the other hand wanted globalism. Now you don't. According to your very own logic, you are for globalism and against it at the same time.

America does not enjoy full recovery

We have 10s of millions on welfare or holding 2 nowhere jobs

You and other globalists are now totally dependent on our worst enemy for all the cheap junk that modern life requires

I dont care what happens to libs but the rest of America deserve better

The question is ... "who cares?"!

Fight the evil at the root!

And if you feel attacked by me and my posts in your American La La Land Utopia, that's your problem and not mine!
When you and others spread lies here, the lies are fought where they happen.

Everything you bloviate about here in America is my problem not yours

You want to lecture Americans about topics that are not your business

Aside fact that many of these issues have influence which go outside your border up to us ...
Aside fact that even with US "internal" topics" came all too often a bad claim and blabbering towards Europe in general or directly to my country ... for example at topic US gun control where Americans claimed we live unsafe due to our law and yours is better for example...
Aside fact that even issues like trade war US vs. China is not only your issue, because it hurts us too...

Of course you are welcome to crawl into La La Land Snail Shell if you do not like the views from outside on your topics and you prefer to live in your dream world.

If this were a german language forum didicated to german politics and I was attacking your country while demanding that you allow more guns you would have a valid complaint

    But you dont

Really, if you or that other german posting here are typical then germany is already lost and NATO no longer has a purpose

Thats a sad thing to say but unfortunately true
