    The Marine Corps also flew B-25's during WW ll.

    Navy and Marine B-25's were designated PBJ. (Patrol Bomber North American Aviation)

    The Germans used several P-51 Mustangs during the war. In fact, they had at least 6 P-51 Mustangs in their inventory during the war.

    The Germans had no problem using any equipment they could get their hands on.

    I saw a picture on FB in a German WW II tech group that showed a hanger with all sorts of captured allied planes. Might have been this unit.
