    Putrid. Just sickening. And cowardly.

    https://www.cnn.com/2019/06/28/politics/vladimir-putin-donald-trump-election-interference/index.html

    Are. You. Kidding. Me.
The dismissiveness is dripping in Trump's comment. You want me to say the little thing to the nice man? I'll say it. You happy now? (Pats collective media on head).

He wants the media -- and everyone watching -- to know that he's just going through the motions, that he doesn't really believe that he needs to tell Putin not to involved Russia in future elections. He's checking a box, in the most sarcastic way possible.

Which is consistent with how Trump has responded to questions of late as to whether he will raise Russia's election interference with Putin at this G20 gathering. Over the weekend, NBC's Chuck Todd asked Trump about broaching the subject of Russia's role in the 2016 election with Putin. "I may if you'd like me to do it, I'll do that," Trump responded.
Here's why all of this is so appalling (if you don't already know): The United States intelligence community and the nearly two-year long Mueller investigation both affirmed this basic fact: Russia actively, aggressively and systematically sought to meddle in the 2016 election in order to help Trump and hurt Clinton. They took these actions because they believed Trump would be better for their interests than Clinton would be. They view the 2016 operations as a giant success and are extremely likely to pursue more attempts at interference in the 2020 election.

    Of course I read it.

    It's very damning.

You know, all of our intelligence agencies know that the Mueller Report accurately described Russia's "sweeping and systematic" attack of our election.

So, I see the trumpers rushing to defend Bonespurs' smooching Putin's anus and laughing about Russia attacking our election.

    Bonespurs is a traitor.

Poor feller. Still stuck in the collusion delusion and letting Trump live in your head rent free.

I'm an actual American who actually knows and understands what that really means. Sick and tired of a traitor and criminal's fat orange ass in the WH crapping all over law, tradition and our institutions.

And that's aside from his incompetence, which should fuel the creation of dozens of additional threads.

You don't need to believe that he committed any crimes to recognize the blatant disrespect directed at the American intelligence communities, and choosing to 'side' with a foreign leader. His smarminess should upset all who saw it or read about it. There is no excuse for the American president to make fun at the expense of his own country.

Exactly. His behavior is beyond "offensive"; it's atrocious and unacceptable.

The morons refuse to separate the serious issue of Russian interference in our politics from the canard of Trump's collusion with Russia in the 2016 election. Trump himself has continually conflated the two, and they just follow his lead (and Sean Hannity's lead) and try to use the whole thing to bash Democrats.

Trump has revealed and continues to reveal just what a cynical, unprincipled bunch his devotees really are. They are so invested in Trump personally, they have no sense of national identity outside of their party and the conning messiah heading it as president. They have no sense of right and wrong outside of what that apparatus feeds them. They are sheepish followers, real herd-thinkers, and they will follow any shepherd as long as he makes the right noises and gestures.

Ya, Trump should just declare war on Russia already.

Seriously though, what good do think 'Hey Putin, stop that!' is going to do?

The lack of any evidense that russian trolls had any demonstrable effect in the election aside, what good is publicly admonishing a foreign leader going to do? You think we can shame Putin into cooperation? The US is the undisputed heavyweight champion of foreign election meddling. We have precisely zero moral high ground from which to chastize anyone else about doing it.

The best we can do is publicly ignore it (lest they think it actually worked) and privately bolster ourselves against it. And no, not by limiting speech or further centralizing election security protocols, as the House keeps trying to ram through with States Rights violating 'election security' bills. Further sacrificing more of our liberty is never the answer.

Well call Queen Nancy and get his ass impeached. Do something about it.

Personally, I think it's funny as hell. The Dems coup attempt is blowing up in their faces just in time for the next election cycle. Awesome. :applause:

You mean like Obama and Co spying on Trump's campaign? Warrantless wire taps? Using unverified garbage dossiers paid for by Hillary? Coup attempts? Wearing wires? 25th Amendment? I could go on.....

No, these are fantasies. Why do you insist on trying to make Russian interference in our politics about Obama and Clinton?

He does that because, even though those claims are pure bullshit, that's all he has left to use to cover for Bonespurs' betrayal of this country.

Sincere question...do any Repubs and/or Trump supporters here believe that Russia interfered with the election? I'm not talking about the potential of Trump's role, I'm just asking about whether or not they interfered.

You do understand that the Russian meddling occurred under Obama? As for your ridiculous statement, you don't think that Trump is talking to Putin behind closed doors about Russian interference? Remember, Hillary BOUGHT dirt from the Russians to use against Trump. So there's your interference and collusion with Russians. And all with the blessing of Obama's intelligence agencies who portrayed it as being true when they knew it wasn't. How many times do you people have to be told that Trump was a VICTIM here of Hillary and Obama because they both wanted Hillary to carry on the messiah's "legacy" LOL

Democrats and their fake outrage again. They have proven not to care about election interference, or anything else that they cry about for that matter.
