They did their job and whining and crying about it, as well as making **** up won’t change that.

No matter how many times this argument is shot full of friggin' holes it just keeps bubbling up.

It is an example of a "talking point" with zero substance behind it. Its the ol' goebel's tactic - if you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth.

But at least you can continue to pumping it out there in ironic ignorant certitude. They didn't need to have the physical servers. A system mirror is ALL that is needed. What information could be gleaned from the physical hardware that would add anything to a forensic system mirror? You know that there are a number of commercial applications, not to mention all kinds of custom stuff, don't you?

NO of course you don't. And you will never learn because that destroys this partisan talking point of bullshit.

Sure. They don’t need to investigate, just take the DNCs word for it. You would love Putin.

Once again, you're demonstrating an embarrassing lack of comprehension. This has been responded to numerous times, yet you can't figure out that you're wrong again.

One can recover data from the hard drive that had been overwritten from the physical system but not from a copy.

Did you say something about "lack of evidence that russian trolls had any demonstrative effect in the election" ?

    https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/16/us/politics/russians-indicted-mueller-election-interference.html

The Justice Department charged 13 Russians and three companies on Friday in a sprawling indictment that unveiled a sophisticated network designed to subvert the 2016 election and to support the Trump campaign. It stretched from an office in St. Petersburg, Russia, into the social feeds of Americans and ultimately reached the streets of election battleground states.

The Russians stole the identities of American citizens, posed as political activists and used the flash points of immigration, religion and race to manipulate a campaign in which those issues were already particularly divisive, prosecutors said.

Some of the Russians were also in contact with “unwitting individuals associated with the Trump campaign,” according to court papers. Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel leading the investigation, made no accusation that President Trump or his associates were knowingly part of the conspiracy.

“The indictment alleges that the Russian conspirators want to promote discord in the United States and undermine public confidence in democracy,” Rod J. Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general overseeing the inquiry, said in a brief news conference. “We must not allow them to succeed.”

None of that indicates that a meaningful number of votes were flipped. That would be a demonstrable effect.

Clearly, you have not read the Mueller report. He substantially documented the ways and means by which trolls influenced votes using social media ads, etc. Of course, nobody has any way to tell exactly how many voters were influenced.

    You mean attempted.

I've read enough of it to understand that Hillary still would've lost the EC if Russians hadn't 'meddled.'

She won the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes (2.87 to be exact. That tells me that the majority of the people in this country would have preferred her over that bastard Trump. Two of our last three presidents won the white house through the electoral vote, not the popular vote.

With exactly the same procedures and data states that any competent forensic computer expert would use with a system mirror image.

And in the process they would also analyse changes from last back up on the data and review all transactional logs and follow all audit trails.

And then there is the simple fact that these FBI counter intell cyber guys are some of the very best on the planet and being somewhat familiar with their capabilities, I think I'll trust them to get this right on the money - the russian indictments are rather specific, no?

And Bernie won the nom. But the DNC gave it to Hillary instead, and then the EC gave Trump the presidency instead.

Who would you say had a greater effect on the nation- the DNC or Russia? Bernie could've actually won the EC.

Because your question has little significance to the election of 2016. The bottom line is that Russia literally committed an act of war against the United States and influenced our free-elections.

The DNC handing Bernie's votes to Clinton "has little significance to the election of 2016." LOL!

Was it an 'act of war' when we influenced Russia's free-elections and those in many other nations over the last century?

You told me to stay focussed... I think your focus is far too narrow to be of use.
