This has nothing to do with "disagreeing". It only has to do with you not knowing how money moves in sports. Fact is that playing for national teams is much less profitable for professional players. You know which players in soccer are not patriotic and are only there for the money when they quit their national teams. One of the best players in Germany, Mesut Ozil, quit the national team before the last World Cup because he made more money if he stayed with his local team. And since he was born in Turkey, he had no need to show patriotism. Established professional soccer players play for their national team only out of patriotism.

That's a conclusion. What were their arguments that led them to conclude that? If somebody gives a conclusion with no arguments, you should call them out. Ask them: "What are your arguments?"
