Is Liar Flynn assured of a presidential pardon if he weasels out of his deal to cooperate?

An implicit threat to sing is a hefty bargaining cow chip.

Once a liar, Always a liar...

Still would love to see Flynn charged with violating the Logan Act... A clearer violation you will never find, but that law is completely toothless...

Wasn't really following this trial, but I might have to now...

Liar Flynn may have thrown away a lenient sentence in the hope of getting away with his treachery scot free.

    Intrigue ensues.

Good. Corrupt officials should automatically be subject to the harshest penalty permitted to be imposed. That proviso would ensure a public trial. The only way to discourage corruption is to punish it severely each and every time you find it. The only reward for cooperating should be time in club fed -vs- Leavenworth.

I’m glad you’re on the record opposing a pardon here.

Yep, the left hates another true American.

Prosecutors want him to lie so are now trying to make him a co-conspirator in his partners trial after saying he wasn't.

Logan act is probably unconstitutional anyway

I'm on the record for opposing preferential treatment too. Podesta needs to get the same sentence Flynn does. Omar and Tlaib need to be investigated for foreign lobbying.

Really?? Heck, it was written right about the same time as the constitution..... How would you think this would be unconstitutional??

    SNIP
criminalizes negotiation by unauthorized persons with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States. The intent behind the Act is to prevent unauthorized negotiations from undermining the government's position.[2]
    ENDSNIP

If it is unconstitutional, we should go ahead and find out now and get it repealed...

What's he plead guilty to? Podesta admitted his guilt and was handed a fine.

The law has been around since 1799, yet nobody has ever been prosecuted for violating it. If anyone would be guilty it would be people like John Kerry.

What have Omar and Talib pleaded guilty to??

I highlighted "investigated for foreign lobbying"... You don't think there's any rationale for a full investigation of Kushner on that basis??

Do you want a few links?? A list of countries??

    Qatar
    Saudi Arabia
    Israel
    Russia
    China

    Need I go on??

Yeah?? No ****.... NOT the conversation I was having with Mello, but thanks for stopping by... Always a pleasure....

P.S. 2 people were indicted (another word would be prosecuted) for violating the act, but neither was found guilty...

So, you have learned something today.... Thanks Ego!!

The 2 indicted were never prosecuted. You need to catch up.

    Maybe you should learn.

I am sure you think Encyclopedia Britannica is incorrect. According to them only one.

Admitted, he didn’t lie to the fbi like Flynn did, so why would he face the same penalty

It is, just look at what John Kerry has gotten away with for years. Hopefully Trump will pardon this patriot, right after his re-election.

Talk about getting screwed in a casual conversation he says he hasn't had contact with Russian then gets hung up on discussing transition with the ambassador, like every freaking other NSA has done in the past. Hell even Comey said he didn't feel like he lied.

It is Swamp selective enforcement. When Huma Abedin lied during the Hillary email investigation, Comey said he didn't think people should be prosecuted for memory lapses.

prosecutors notified the Virginia judge July 3 of an abrupt change. They will not offer him as a witness and will instead argue that he was a co-conspirator, they said.

    Umm read your own article.

Comey never said he didn’t “feel like he lied”, they knew he lied.
