Who would win a civil war left vs right

I'm sure all of the fly over states that voted for Republicans that produce the food for the nation are still going to keep supplying the government forces . Once the food stops arriving in the big cities expect massive food riots with a high casualty rate. Is the government going to manage protecting, supplying, and forcing people to produce food? Or will they expect the entire world to ship them food to all of their major metropolitan areas?

Trump is a big wimp. But lots of his supporters are not. Like it or not, the average rightist in America is tougher than the average leftist. And the average rightist has way more guns. That means the right, such as it is, has a distinct advantage in terms of armed conflict.

 

I can only hope it never comes to this. But should it, I don't believe it will be a war between political parties. It will be a war between those that value life and Freedom, and those that do not and use violence to voice their opinikn, caring nothing about those that oppose their views.

That is why I am thinking of buying a gun and taking lessons. I am afraid that in the need future I might have to protect myself from the violent far left supposed protesters. The quote White Supremacist are few but the Antifa are many and more violent against normal citizens and often protected by Democrat mayors and Governors. These are the Governments our Founding Fathers thought we had a right to bear arms against. IMO

It won't be as easy as some think. I saw a picture on FB of some guys who looked fit and wore their tactical gear properly and carried themselves like your typical Blackwater security guys. The one had an antifa tat. There was an ex-military Lefty on this board who tried to inform the board that more Lefties own guns than what the RW thinks. He had Lefty friends who were well armed. It all comes down to organization and the Left is more organized than the Right. I've never had combat training but I studied it and while some will laugh, in my younger days I played paintball which is pretty close to realistic combat. Paintball is used for training for police and other forces. I saw what happens when you have a squad of five guys who played together and used proper tactics. They wiped out the unorganized side in a couple minutes. Unless the Right organizes smaller groups of Lefties will have a field day.

 

The right is generally organized through militias which tend to be much larger than any leftist equivalent. Every Marine I know is basically a conservative. Most law enforcement people are conservative too. They aren't going to side with the SJW commandos who think trans bathrooms are the premier civil rights issue of our time.

 

By the way, I'm fine with leftists having guns. The more Americans who have guns, the better. Just make sure you train yourself how to use them, otherwise they're more dangerous than useful.

I don't even know if a civil war is going to happen, though it does seem to be heading in that direction. Not exactly surprising either when you consider the country's history.

But theoretically speaking, IF there was some kind of civil war between the "right" and "left" as those terms are commonly understood, then the right seems to have a clear advantage. Sorry if the truth hurts your feelings, but the evidence seems to support that theory.

By the way, you are aware that this discussion is theoretical right? Nobody is actually advocating for a war in this thread. Indeed, the person who started the thread specifically said they are in favor of peaceful solutions. I've said the same thing. The best way to solve the problems facing the US is through peaceful negotiations. Unfortunately, people are not always reasonable and fights sometimes happen. I would have thought a political forum was the best place to speculate about how such a fight might evolve, but it seems that many self-identified leftists are too triggered by dangerous words to have a real discussion about it. Probably because they don't like to envision a scenario where they lose. Contemplating the possibility that they are not superior to everyone in every way is a hard ask for many on the left.

I guess you didn't watch the video... government strategists predict a 25+% military personel defection rate in the case of a left v right civil war. And when they go, weapons, vehicles, entire bases go with them.

Which is how every other civil war in history has run.

 

Oh so this thread about a Civil War is a theoretical fantasy just about peaceful solutions, and the violent part where you are theorizing about the left being triggered by a fight or whatever....that part is....what....exactly?
