The lack of understanding and comprehension of the basic grammatical rules of the english language on the part of yourself has been noted.
Because, by relentlessly promoting permissiveness and lax regulation on behalf of firearm manufacturers and retailers, the political lobby has succeeded in solidifying US preeminence in firearm fatalities in the world. Besides which, Americans "opposing" it is irrelevant. Exposure of its corruption and its internal shoot-outs are now determining its fate. (Concern for Squinty "Fancy Pants" LaP's state of mind as he is outed may suggest he should not have easy access to a weapon.)
Denial is not a strategy to insure the continuing preeminence of the US in firearm fatalities. The North American Man/Gun Love Association is imploding, and Americans can expect progress. "Do you support or oppose stricter gun laws in the United States?" SUPPORT: 61% // OPPOSE: 34% http://pollingreport.com/guns.htm
A very large percentage of these gun killings happen in cities where guns are outlawed and you want to take the guns I keep for self defense? I support stricter enforcement of existing gun laws. Oppose.
Gun laws only diminish the capability of law abiding people from defending themselves. Criminals could care less about gun laws.
We have over three hundred million guns. It will take years to convince everyone to give up their guns. In the meantime, the law abiding will be vulnerable. The solution is simple. Make the outlaws give up their guns first and then we will consider giving up our guns.
Don't let the NRA infect you with paranoia. I have never expressed any interest in taking away guns that law-abiding folks keep for self-protection. I once did so myself, but decided my family was safer without it around. My choice. Others can differ. More pizzas are consumed in cities, as well. That is where most folks live.
You can tell yourself such stuff as a rationale for maintaining the astronomical level of firearm fatalities in the US, but don't expect most Americans to share your beverage or your claim of impotence.
An NRA meme and an idiot one at that. You won’t stop career criminals but you will stop the casual junkie crim, who is FAR more likely to shoot you. Youth gangs target kids to recruit if they know the kid lives in a house with a gun.... It won’t stop them but that does not mean you have to mak3 it flicking easy for them
Now show the charts that detail firearm-related homicides, and only firearm-related homicides, rather than dishonestly including firearm-related suicides.
The firearm-related restrictions of the nations of Mexico and Venezuela are quite strict. In fact they are far stricter than any firearm-related restrictions in the united states. Despite such, however, their firearm-related homicide rates are far in excess of the united states.
"North American Man/Gun Love Association" Classic, should be enshrined Thank god I eschew firearms. I might shoot myself in envy.
I had always thought that people killed by homicide and suicide were both equally dead. Silly me. And yes, I realise your ****** ******* silly 'point' and it sucks great hairy stinking balls. I have a friend who committed suicide and according to his gf it was purely on an impulse and it would have passed within a few minutes and he'd still be alive today if that ****ing obscene thing hadn't been in his house. And your ****ing ******* implication that his life wasn't worth 10 of any conservatives I've ever met can kiss my shiny metal ass
It almost sounds like you would deny me my right to do what I want with my body. You wouldn’t want to do that would you?
2019 seems to be a record year for legal FBI background checks. "Gun Background Check Record: 2+ Million Checks Each Month of 2019" "This marks the first time over two million checks have been conducted during each of the first six months of a given year in the history of the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). FBI figures show 2,165,094 background checks were performed in January, followed by 2,053,886 in February, and 2,644,851 in March. There were 2,334,249 checks in April, 2,349,309 in May, and 2,312,309 in June."
