Balearic slingers could be more deadly than bowmen against heavily armored foes. At times I believe they used oval shaped lead shot.
    https://www.warhistoryonline.com/an...cretan-archers-balearic-rhodian-slingers.html

I talked to an Algerian coworker one day about slings. Apparently in his childhood they would have battles using slings. Sounded a lot more dangerous than the dirt bomb battles I had. One thing I might try. I have a blowgun too, I got a real kick out of it the first time I tried one.

You asked to name the "anti gun group". So I posted supporters who spearhead, fund and initial it. That'd be organizations, media, and famous people.

    Now I ask

Is there inherently anything wrong with having an opposing pig stance on a subject?

The question was not about the 1st amendment or anyone's right to an anti-American position, but instead a simple response to those who question the 'who' in the world of gun grabbers.

I believe that's YOUR group that does that. The list above is so people can choose whether or not to do business with said people or orgs.
Your side acosta people in restaurants, attacks them in public gatherings (while wearing masks over their faces like all cowards), doxes them, hits them over the head with bike locks, etc.

I notice you didn't deny the assertions of my previous post about your dishonesty and your intent.
I also notice you again blame the bullet, instead of the coward or gang banger who fired it.
Is there no end to your misdirection and paranoia about privately owned weapons? Have you been mistreated by someone who owned a gun, and you simply are using this to " get even" by proxy?
Or are you simply a troll for all things at the leftist edge of society?

Lots of practice in an open area is key. I use a sling the length of my outstreched arm and hand plus the width of my shoulders. I only make 3 quarters of a full rotation and a sidearm release.

Length of sling and technique of use is of personal preference. A 3 ounce lead egg sinker is tops but unless you have a few large pieces of carpet backstops, gets expensive. Egg rocks are good and plentiful.

Highly energetic impact ammo is fun and can be primed with cap gun caps

You sound angry that a stone can be cast with lethal effect and gun control is powerless to stop it. Gonna make string illegal?

I aint called chief two rabbits for nothing:)
I hung a backstop in my yard (a bedsheet hanging vetically) bottom of the sheet MUST be free to swing. Hung a hook on a string in the middle with a beer can for a target. Using .44 lead ball, I practiced often (bed sheet acts like a catchers mitt and the lead ball falls to the ground, with no penetration) until roughly 7 out of ten @20 ft hit the can.

Then I went rabbit hunting, both were head shots from about 20 ft. Humane? Eh...somewhat. While they may not die instantly, they are in no condition to run off wounded. I got two that day, good eating. I wont do it again unless i really need the food. But I know if I need to, I can.

Sorry but I thought the KKK where aligned with the right? Aren’t they the ones covering their faces?

As for gunshot injuries - ever had to care for someone who has been shot in the face? I have seen my fair share of gunshot wounds and this is in Australia where they are rare

KKK, Democrats and auntyfay. David Duke is endorsing a Democrat in 2020 and called his fellow anti Semite, Ilhan Omar, 'the most important member in Congress'.

The problem that arises with your opinion that I emboldened which is what I have contention with comes from ignorance on a fundamental level of how semi automatic rifles are designed. I'm going to overlook how you lopped them in with full auto then yell AK47. Google is useful. All an AK47 that's legal in the US for example is..is a rifle that is one pull one shot..the alternative is too have only bolt action. Still highly accurate and have obvious purpose. Full auto? Zero purpose I can find outside of war. People should stop looking at scary pictures the MSM provides and look at the mechanics of weapons.

That being said I sympathize whole heartedly at the utter defeatism of having an unloaded weapon in your home for self defense with an ammo requirement of 20m away. Asinine by design that law and I bet your revolver is loaded in your bedstand as I type this.

    Cheers and God bless

Antifa groups are the ones covering their faces while they attack conservative groups.

Ever seen anyone shot in the face that there wasn't a person operating the weapon?

Would this person you cared for be close to you, is that the cause of your deep hatred for firearms, and your insistence on intersecting your views in a country you do not reside in?
You, nor any other Aussie, has anything to fear from American gun owners. Yet you insist on injecting yourself in a conversation where you have no first hand knowledge or on the ground insight.

    Again, I have stated that you intentionally mislead others on this board concerning your intentions;
That you claim to support legal gun ownership with "common sense reforms " only.
That your long term goal is to eliminate the private ownership of firearms entirely.
Would you care to comment, or are you just going to report my post again?

As you grapple with 'rights', others are more concerned with 'responsibilities'. Some countries are concerned with citizens being responsible in a society collectively as opposed to having rights in a society singluary.

Unfortunately, certain people are just not safe owning the type of guns that New Zealand have now banned. On your own on an island, they're a great fun but not in a society where there are many people. And the evidence? Massacres.

Incidents will still happen but regulation is there to reduce these incidents as much as possible. Lower calibre single shot weapons with strict regulation reduces deaths. You can still protect yourself at home with a shotgun if that's your concern, if you feel you have many enemies.
