    No, but they do base it off how the party is being portrayed in the media. As long as the media is front paging the radical left, the dem platform is not going to be appealing to the moderates and undecided. Also, you have to factor in that the overwhelming majority of voters from any demographic are not as informed as those like what you find here and other political boards. Truth is, most Americans probably vote based on a few soundbites and one liners.

    Point being, as long as the media is consumed with coverage of the squad, average voters are not even going to know what the candidates are running on. Case and point: how much coverage was given to Biden's HC roll out VS the squad?

    Make no mistake though, I am not suggesting Trump has masterminded anything, it just worked out that way.

    When conservative journalists in Minnesota raised the bigamy allegations in 2016, Omar issued a statement calling the allegations 'baseless, absurd rumors' and issued a statement accusing the journalists of 'Islamophobia'. Her statement was taken verbatim from campaign chair's email. That same email appears to admit that the allegations are not without basis. Her campaign chairman describes how he tried to construct a denial based on 'real background information', but found it 'impossible'
