And at the current rate it will rise about 4" by 2100 but listening to the alarmists cities will be underwater.

The are all over YouTube. You choose not to find the truth and to not take responsibility for what is going to happen., Scientists know that human beings are so pathetically stupid that they are willingly going to let the world be destroyed. Because of this they are now working to see if possibly they can set up something in the artic where a few human's can be kept alive.

My favorite is when they claim plant life is threatened by high heat and high CO2.

Apparently they've never heard of greenhouses.

There is concern in the Antartic which over the last few years has had much more warming than expected that a block of ice the size of florida is possibly going to break off. They believe that if that happened it would result in half a meter sea rise. I was listening to the amount of sea rise expected yesterday by Michael Mann who does not believe in making exaggerated claims. I cannot remember exactly what he said but it was a lot. That is sea water rise which is already unchangeable even if, as clearly seems unlikely, we worked on this in the way we need to. He said the only question was whether that was going to happen very gradually - over a few centuries or whether it would happen all at once which would be catastrophic. The Independent reports a rise the size of a three story building
    https://www.independent.co.uk/envir...e-change-9-metres-study-science-a7536136.html

I think that is more than Mann said. However what he said was significant and would make many places which are currently homes to millions of people no longer habitable. This is something which is going to happen even if we make the necessary changes. If we do not obviously it will be far worse.

oh come on...please....and Youtube is a valid publication and peer review vector for scientific output....???

    ...okay....whatever....

You seem to be wound up in a miasma of hysteria and emotion which whilst as compelling as the climate extinction folk it unfortunately has little or nothing to do with fact.

Yes, you can get all the information there from the top scientists. I can see there is no point in talking to ignorant shitesters who do not give a **** about anyone but themselves. I only wish I would be alive to watch you squeal. Ignorant people who like to bully people over stuff they are to lazy to even investigate always are cowards. Bullies and cowards. People who believe it is fine to vote for things in total ignorance as you have admitted you voted for Brexit and as you have admitted you do not care what it does to your country and its people. People who are in fact still children in an adults body, yes with a child's mentality and cowards.

    ...okay....whatever....
As my mother said, he who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool shun him. You are a bully and a fool.

Michael Mann who I mentioned in anotherr post. All his work like others can be found on Youtube
    https://cosmosmagazine.com/climate/...-tyler-prize-winner-michael-e-mann-speaks-out

It is obvious that sick posters are determined that nothing will be spoken about here so that they can pretend everything is all right and have the standard of living they enjoy regardless of the reality they are going to almost certainly take away from the people who are born now the right to an old age so I will stop. There is no debate here just sick posters mindlessly insulting.,

LOL, sea ice which will not raise sea level. One would think that after ALL of the failed predictions by the alarmists and media whores that one would get a clue.

I was watching a program on the situation of water in Pakistan today. They were suggesting in ten years time there might not be a Pakistan.

People will be aware that the heatwave Europe had has moved up to the artic.

some more about to come news

I know for a short while I stopped buying butter and suppose I should get back to that...then there is milk, that was always for tomorrow, not least because my tomato plants like it.

anyway this will be needing people to basically give up meat especially cows until the scientists finish producing there cuts of beef that do not demand a cow live first.

The article suggests a good vegetarian diet

    https://www.theguardian.com/environ...roduction-key-to-climate-crisis-leaked-report

Looks like a healthy diet is one of the advantages of avoiding climate destruction.

A truck currently comes around delivering poor villages with water every 14 or 15 days. They have to get up at midnight with their hoses and buckets and try and get as much as they can in the one hour they have. On the day they were filming the water had been infected with human excrement. Was watching a similar one on India. In many of the poor towns all but the old have had to give up farming due to lack of water and gone to the cities leaving their old parents alone. It is hitting other places first but it will affect us all and the US quite badly. It will also be a hell of a lot more expensive to sort out if left too long.

But this brings me to what I had meant to write about earlier. The reality is that climate deniers like yourself are very much the minority nowadays. Most people have either experienced the effects themselves or are well aware that others have. However the problem is that still among many there is this erroneous belief that our Politicians will sort it out in time. That there are far more important things to deal with now - wars if you are a government or day to day activities if not but that we will have all the time we need and this just is not true any more. We only have a very short space of time to make sufficient changes that we will be able to leave for those born now the hope of some degree of security in their lives. The Arctic Temperature went up 30 degrees F above normal with the end of the European heat wave. Things really seem to be taking off. For as long as I have got interested in this again which is since Christmas, Scientists have been expressing their belief that it simply will not happen that sufficient humans are moved to get things in order before it is too late. - just like councils now do not repair roads until a child has been killed. So they did an experiment to see how likely it was that we would do the unexpected and save the planet form disastrous consequences. They got people together, none of them were like yourself climate deniers, they were all ordinary people with concern for the future. They gave them all money. I think it was $40 each and gave them a choice of where they would like to spend that money. There were several decent choices including climate change. They could put ten dollars or more on any of them and they did not need to put any money on any if they chose not to. They were also told that at the end they could keep any money they had not used. The idea behind it was to see whether they would put sufficient money on to the work needed to save the world. I think it was $20 each which would do it. They failed choosing instead to take the money home and that pretty much looks like how we are going to go.

You have evidently never heard of weather before. Heat waves, cold waves, storms, rain, drought. You know, those things that have been happening since the beginning of time. It has been both warmer and colder than now. In fact we are in a 2.5 million year ice age and are lucky to be in one of the mild interglacial periods that will end at some point in time.

You have fallen mostly for the alarmist claptrap without delving into all the science. If you did you would find there are tons of conflicting data, bad papers, papers that do not stand the test of time. One would think that after ALL of the failed predictions of doom come and go one would get a clue.

I mentioned yesterday that climate scientists are very doubtful that we humans are going to get our act together in order to save this world for our children. Tonight Tim Flannery, chief councillor of Climate Council Australia, on hardtalk expressed his concern for the future which would be there for his children and when asked how long we have said ten to twenty years...and we still sit and wait for someone to do it sometime in the future.

Note for the first paragraph. In a plutocracy the Government serves the most wealthy few not the people.

Really? You have read the entire thread? I have given up on climate denialists, the few that are left can live in their fantasy land. I am more interested in giving people who do know we are going through extreme climate change which we still have the possibility of halting before it become catastrophic, information to make them aware that it is the people rather than our Governments, who answer to fossil fuel Corporations, that will be the ones to create the needed change and the longer they wait the worse the situation will be when it eventually is dealt with.

Someone must have forgotten to tell the Dutch. Their farmers have been boosting crops in their greenhouses since they first had green houses
