The most eloquent denouncement of Trumpery I've seen to date

As much as I think Trumper's themselves would benefit from watching the video I know they won't. I imagine they are growing tired of having what they have become be exposed. Tired of having to face the un-American behavior of their Dear Leader which has inspired them to follow his lead.
Some of us progressives on the board have been seeking answers to explain Trumpery. We are baffled as to why his followers are so willing to accept unethical, immoral, ignorant, illegal behavior from an adulterer unqualified to hold a position of power. The video does as good a job at explaining it as I have yet to see. It's brilliant, incisive, hopeful, and spot on........and therefore will be rejected by members of Don's following.

"Dear leader" ... you mean Fuhrer right? "Dear leader" has the "gestapo" "torturing" kids in "concentration camps" ... those are the "eloquent" words that the 4 demo-commie jihadists don't want anyone focussing on. That ANTIFA bomber was inspired by those words, but only a fascist would say "the squad" didn't have the right to incite violence. Schumer really desperate to provide cover, plans to inspect a DHS facility himself now. I don't know what Chuck will be doing, other than gawking and posing for MSM ... But I do know what Chuck won't be doing. Taking a child he's sponsoring for asylum home with him, or breaking ground for new and more humane DHS facilities. Nope ... Chuck just needs a phony rationalization for demonizing Trump, CBP, DHS, and ICE.

 

Don must have been told by staff just how bad the optics of his rally mob yelling "send her back" was. He tried to distance himself from the mob yesterday by saying he didn't agree with the chant. He must think the footage of him standing there doing nothing to stop them doesn't exist. Or more likely, he knows whether he was caught on film or not The Following will believe what he says. If Don says it didn't happen then it didn't happen..........reality be damned.

It's funny to me when the radicals spew their hatred and Trump gives it back to them only Trump is criticized.

You do know the prez is suppose to set a tone of civility, unity, and tolerance, right? It's easy to forget since all Don does is try to find people to attack.

No false equivalence there. The left has gone overboard. Most people with common sense see that and don't like it. It causes even more division.

What does a video have to do with it? The left has gone berserk over Trump and anyone who agrees with him anything is a Trumper and somehow evil.

 

It is perplexing to watch TrumpHumpers attempt distraction every time someone points out something distasteful that he says or does...the only thing I can think of is purposeful ignorance.

It is not just the left. They dislike him for political reasons but many others dislike him for being divisive, ignorant and embarassingly UnAmerican

 

I'll put it a different way. I look at Trump and see things I like and things I don't like. Similarly I saw things in Obama Bush and Clinton I liked and things I did not like. The left has lost their ability to do that. It is all bad. No in between.

 

Trump reminds me of my favorite president, Truman. He was outspoken and did not take crap off of anyone.

 

Lost? You cant lose something you have never had!

 

And it isn't just what Trump did (inspired the chant) and didn't do (try to stop it). It's the response from congressional Repubs and the minions. Their failure to condemn what happened at the rally speaks volumes about the GOP.

 

And I like him for it. Make no mistake our country and way of life are under attack and we need a guy like Trump to fight back.

 

No prez in history (except maybe Andrew Johnson) comes close to the racist, idiotic, dangerous, reckless, xenophobic, ignorant, selfish, immoral, illegal behavior Don exhibits. That you are willing to overlook it says as much about you as it does about Trump.

 

Make no mistake, our country and everything it stands for is under constant attack by Trump.

 

If you are against Trump's policies you must be for open borders, unfair trade, disrespecting our national anthem, hating Israel, eliminating ICE, and welcoming MS-13 gangs. What would your mother say?

 

And nothing good whatsoever?

 

It isn't binary. Dems are for improved border security, so am I. Just not a useless wall that will suck resources away from more effective deterrents.
