It's a mass shooting only if a mass are actually hit so your "few shots" fired is not classed as a mass shooting. And what difference does it make if the figures do include gang shootings? Drive by shootings regularly hit innocent bystanders. Most murders in the first world are carried out by gangs on gangs, the US still has the highest mass shootings in the world
It matters because gun control isnt going to stop career criminals and psychopaths from getting black market guns. So those (most) shootings will continue regardless.
Speaking from experience? The only guns i own are not on any paper (quite legal) And no one but an ignoramus would ever call cap n ball pistols (you'll have to look it up) "weapons of mass slaughter"

Yep, the US is a violent country and will get worse and you'll continue adding to the massive arsenal of guns already out there by legally purchasing more and more guns in any state in the US. Every gun obtained on the black market was initially bought legally, but hey, who cares what happens to my old guns when I can easily buy more guns

The group of 2. In the group of 10 we are well equipped enough to stop any shooters that might send trouble our way. I’m around armed people all the time. I’ve never been shot, nobody I associate with has been shot. Crazy huh? You take a nation of over 300,000,000 and freak out when a handful get killed. It’s going to happen. People die. Better to be armed and in control of your own fate rather than let bad luck control it for you. I know you don’t understand this, being Australian or whatever.
