Republicans are such scum that they will accept help from any quarter in order to stay in power.

To them, its no longer about good government and democracy. Its about keeping power in an age where the future of their voting base is at stake. Most young people do not embrace classic republican ideas anymore, and are very progressive.

They understand that outside foreign help is one of the only ways they win anymore. Along with rigging the voting system through the use of gerrymandering, disguised poll taxes, and so forth. Scum of the earth, all of them imo.

They have pretty much played into the fact that fair elections with large turnout, would lead to large losses for them.

The above is misguided - in so many ways. Most every nation would like to influence US citizens = influence their electoral decision, and we are the same with other nations. Next time a foreign leader comes to town should we not allow this person to speak because they might "influence" US citizens ? Should we not air statements by other foreign leaders in the media because they "might influence our election" ?

What exactly are we talking about in this case. Facebook ads which experts have claimed had no significant impact on the election results.

If we are going to ban all attempts by foreign actors to use media to influence the US electorate - there is a long list of actors that are far more significant than Russian facebook ads. Comparing the Russian ads to the actions of other foreign actors is like comparing a rain drop to a hurricane.

You mean no collusion Trump? Still rejecting the Mueller report? Yet Hillary PAID for Russian information to affect the election and was used to vilify Trump yet here you are, still ignoring reality. Go figure.

You do understand the difference between a "sweeping and systematic" effort on the part of Russia's intel agencies, directed by Putin and using illegally obtained material to influence the election......................and a foreign leader speaking in public, right?

It's a highly edited video full of right wing media lies and distortions. It's fake news........or worse.........it was produced for the sole reason of misrepresenting the truth for those gullible enough to believe it.

You obviously believe that decisions people make can not be influenced by outside sources. Just think of the money you could save automobile manufacturers if you clued them in on your knowledge. They wouldn't have to spend any money on advertising since it doesn't accomplish any thing. Just think, if you could get them to pay you just 10% of the money they could save you'd be wealthier than the golden shower pervert you worship.

    1. What you just said is, democrat voters who were Hillary supporters were so stupid they were convinced to vote for Trump because of Russian ads? Please show us one of those ads.
    2. Tell us more about the golden showers you seem to know so much about.

How did the Russians get Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the DNC to steal the Primary from Bernie Sanders? How did Russia get Donna Brazile to leak debate questions to Hillary Clinton in advance of the debates?

Do you understand the difference between cherry picking one part of a post out - and addressing that part of the post as if it was the whole story given - and intellectual honesty ? Part of that difference was explained in the part of the post you left out.

The facebook ads constituted neither sweeping nor systemic efforts to influence the electoral minds of the electorate. If you want "sweeping and systemic" you should be talking about our intelligence agencies or the various foreign actors that do engage in "sweeping and systemic".

You don't care about this though - because you have been brainwashed (by sweeping and systemic propaganda) in to believing that these are the good guys. This is not to say that the Russian trolls were good guys either but, at least the ads they put out where "The Truth" as opposed to propaganda.

The idea that the electorate knowing "The Truth" harmed our electoral process - as most of the propaganda pundits and propaganda news outlets were claiming - is preposterous nonsense.

I have put this question to you before and you have yet to coherently respond with anything other that putting head deep in the sandbox of denial.

That is a remarkably stupid question that Trumpets repeatedly ask because there is no way to determine an answer to the question.

And the question purposely misses the point.

One would have to be extremely challenged intellectually not to realize that a four-month daily barrage of WikiLeaks leaks provided by the GRU (Russian military intelligence) had a tremendous impact on voters. The WikiLeaks campaign lasted from July to election day.

    That is the point.

Anyone care to say now that the Russian interference in our election didn't have an effect on the voter? Add to that the Russian propaganda in social media, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

The really stupid thing is, what this Trumpet is really saying is that the Russians tried to interfere in our Presidential election. So what, he is saying. It didn't have an effect.

The problem is, people like Jestsaying chose our current President. Will we allow that to happen again?

California has some say about that.

Trump will not be eligible for California’s primary ballot unless he releases his tax returns, under a new law signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom on Tuesday. The new law does not affect the general election.

The Times reports, "The law, which goes into effect immediately, requires candidates for president or governor to submit copies of their tax returns from the last five years with the California secretary of state at least three months ahead of the state’s primary. That means Mr. Trump would have to provide his tax returns by the end of this year."

“It creates a strong incentive for a candidate to disclose their tax returns,” he said. “Losing California’s large number of primary delegates is significant, while ensuring that someone who is a party’s nominee isn’t kept off the ballot in the general election.

I wonder how many other states will follow.

Has any one of the whining lefties ever found even one person that changed their vote from Hillary to Trump because of "the Russians"?
