Here is where our discussion runs amok. Your contention that Trump is not a despot to witch many would add, "yet." That is the fear that drives the anti-trump "collective."

Despots don't just spring fully grown, powerful, and ugly from a wellspring of political effluent. The process is a slow one and like the frog in a pan of warm water until tragedy is upon you, the die is cast, and a real "collective" takes over an entire society. History is full of tragic examples of how freedom and intellectual freedom dies on an alter of authoritarianism. This is our fear because we have seen the progression from democracy to something sinister. The images of fascism, nazism, communism, and horrible dictatorship weigh heavily on our minds. We know it can happen here.

The question is whether or not we are on that evil progression to enslavement by a central government. The signs are all to familiar and clear:
    1. A devotion to nationalism
    2. Attacks on a free press (fake news)
    3. An external threat (immigrants)
    4. An internal threat (minorities and political opponents)
    5. Chaos in both society and government.

This makes us very afraid. Acknowledge that such fears might exist in America and you are halfway home to understanding your enemies.

Trump doesn't give a rat's petunia about the American people - at least not those in the "Lower Classes" - he is beholden to the biggest of Globalists on the planet and has made quid pro quo appointments on this basis.

Trump is a Social Darwinist - he only cares about the elite.

The man that have his products made in China and Mexico, and have resorts all over the world is for "America First"?? LMAO.

And if you aren't even American, Trump don't like you no matter what you do. Who knows, you might even be living in one of those "shythole" countries Trump was referring to.

Of course he's a racist. That is obvious.

As far as who he likes, he likes people who like him and think he's great and agree with his idiotic ways.

I don't like him, so he doesn't like me, no matter how much I love America and the Star-Spangled Banner.

I don't think he gives a crap about the Star-Spangled Banner, and if he loved America, he would resign.

You forgot to post the definition of anal retentive. His absolute power derives from the other lackeys he appoints to do his fowl work of transforming the US govt into a rich mans haven blown hundreds of millions on himself and his businesses while Americans struggle to exist, and forgetting his promises to not do as such if elected.

I know what has you triggered.

    • Lowest black unemployment in history
    • $100 billion dollar investment in minority communities
    • Historic criminal justice reform

I watched a replay on Monday Night Football circa 1979 last night complete with the advertizing spots

All the products were made in America by American workers in cluding the colot YVs and electronics

If the Drop Their Shorts And Show Their Ass crowd wants to know what happened to our country there is the answer

We did not practice globalism then

That was an accurate characterization of when you posted this:
The military is a collective, a football team is a collective, corporate farmers collecting free monies from Trump is a collective. Oh please stop with the nuclear age individualistic nonsense...No one exists on their own individualist merit of self sufficiency that died with the industrial revolution and mass consumerism...which is another collective...

Many items can be a collective yet it has nothing to do with Marxism your favorite buzzword to dehumanize a situation..

We did practice globalism by helping nations develop their industries at the cost of our own..In 1979 we had high inflation and markets being lost to foriegn nations because we import their goods it was not an American manufacturing only age. The world was beginning to catch up with industrial and manufacturing capacity from WWII.In 1979 the oil prices increased to a point where American made cars were not selling as well as the fuel efficient Japanese models that flooded the market. In 1979 the US govt. bailed out Chrysler instead of letting them die like they eventually did.

If you think that schools, libraries and firemen are capitalistic then please forge ahead but your stupid attempts to deter the truth are remarkably pedantic.

    Agreed

It was one of the costs we paid to win the Cold War

And we still have the mindset in washington that America can afford to be generous with our trading partners

You mean that if you are not critical of Trump and his divisiveness you are a true American and Trump likes you. And why are you saying that? True Americans know Trump for what he is----a con-man and charlatan.

I don't know. Why would anyone say "the left has adopted a globalist agenda" without realizing it's a dog whistle call to narrow minded nativists who don't particularly like people who don't look like themselves.

He doesn't think black people are anti-American. Liberals do. So when somebody says antiAmerican statements and trump defends America, he's automatically a racist in the world view of the liberal.

Trump is color-blind...reacting to behavior and words...not to color. To liberals in their alternate world, to be color-blind is to be racist.
