Very, where as you seem to lack that capacity.

You remind me of Trump; always attacking the messenger rather than addressing the issues.

And you are addressing the issues? By trying to make it all about me? Issuing no thoughts on improving the situation?

You should go back and examine your priorities and find some facts to talk about. For a change.

BTW, you remind me of all the democrats, obsessed with Trump to the exclusion of all else. Says an awful lot about you.

That you are evidently ignorant of Jefferson's reaction to Marbury v Madison and Andrew Jackson's reaction to Worcester v Georgia is bad enough. It's a helluva lot worse that you evidently haven't given a moment's thought to the logical consequence of your assertion.
Any word can be interpreted as much the same as any other word, depending on the ability of the proponent of the interpretation to gull his audience.
Such mealy-mouthed drivel is music to the ears of the enemies of the rule of law.
That was presumably done in pursuance of A1S8C1, not the Preamble, in which no gov't powers are enumerated.
    No, you're dead wrong.
Which is of no moment whatever...
    ...until that happens.
Sure it is, to aspiring despots.
Amendments change the Constitution itself, so any change in its interpretation not pursuant to an amendment is illegitmate, obviously.
No it does not, nor did it ever.

And still no response to a simple question. Are you waiting for instructions from your betters as to what to say, or just stumped by the truth?

How about if you spend more thann5 minutes in Washington DC you can't be trusted with power.

    Two points:

    1. Your claim to think, obviously false

    2. You continue to prove that you do not comprehend plainly stated comment. For explanation, see reason #1

From my perspective, based on observations, I feel none of the current Trump-Republican Senators can be trusted. They've abandoned all their former human values in favor of blindly supporting Trump & all his antics mindlessly. America deserves better representation than that.

You support a country where it's ok to lie about people in order to get your political way?

You think conservatives are winning right now? You're joking right?

I strive to be an "honest" person & help create an "honest" country in which to live. I have seen Trump lie over & over again, about every conceivable subject, & I oppose that behavior & the man showing it. Trump supporters seem impervious to Trump's continual lying, as if they no longer valued honesty. When I read your #1 post above, I get the distinct impression you're talking about Trump, for no one else comes close to him for so much lying.

I don't think anyone in America or America itself is "winning" right now. But I feel conservative Republicans are the primary reason for that miserable situation. One example. . .Mitch McConnell is blocking even any discussion of any of the many bills passed by the House since the last election--EVEN THOSE PASSED WITH BI-PARTISAN SUPPORT. In this way, McConnell & his Republican obstructionists are guaranteeing the continuing dysfunction of the federal government in a time when action is sorely needed.

    Yeah? And?

I much much much prefer a dysfunctional government that gets nothing done. To a functional government pushing agendas.
Whether it be Trumps agenda, Pelosis agenda or AOC's agenda.

Relative stalemate is far better than any of those.

As for liars, see my comments about the Mueller investigation as regards to collusion and the Kavanaugh Hearings, there were more lies from Democrats on those two issues than Trump has made in his whole life.

I disagree. I'll offer one example. Government is in charge of fixing & building infrastructure across the nation. That is, roads & bridges. Both are in desperate need of updating. Our bridges are become dangerous to drive on. One or two have already fallen with tragic results. Others are threatening. But our government can't even pass a law to deal with infrastructure. That serves no one. Those responsible for opposing progress here should be voted out of office next election. Government isn't inherently bad. It always reflects the values of those elected to serve. The answer is to elect high quality candidates. If we continue electing representatives who hate government, they will always give us government worthy of hating. We get exactly what we vote for.

Explain your comment please. Then address Trump & his sycophants. He's the problem now, not Obama.

You must remember that "government" also dictates priorities on what to fix, puts it up for bid (usually the politically connected get the bid) and determine when such repairs MAY get underway.

The government is only in charge because they say they are and are out to make a personal profit from the job.

How about evenly dividing the tax money to be distributed fairly and without political interference? Are they afraid of everyone getting some benefit?

No, Trump is now dealing with the problems Obama set up to block him.

What you claim are his "sycophants" are doing exactly the same thing that the devotees of Obama did for him, only they are being open about it unlike the democrats who can't stand the spotlight to show them and what they are still up to.

Because no one is willing to pay to fix them.
