    1. Sorry you feel that way. I thought we were making progress.
    2. Several points. . .First, there was plenty of evidence coming directly from Trump himself, to arouse suspicions regarding him & Russia. Since Russia has been a major foe internationally for decades, it was unnerving to think that Trump might be a closet mole for the Russians while working in the Oval Office. Watching Trump during the campaign publicly asking Russia to hack Hillary's emails was hard to swallow. Having him badmouth our intelligence professionals while praising the Russian equivalents was unnerving. Seeing him have secret meetings with Russian officials known to recruit & train Russian spies, in the Oval Office with no other Americans present except an interpreter, & with no records kept of the conversation, was downright disturbing. And these are only the first of many such offenses. You say Democrats made up charges to get rid of a duly elected President. These offenses rank among the worst behaviors for a President I've ever witnessed. In 1998-1999, Republicans impeached Democratic President Bill Clinton for far less reason. Why is it OK for them & not OK for Democrats to act on much more serious offenses?
    3. If you're referring to your statement about Democrats getting elected so they could find ways to enrich themselves while in office, I don't disagree, but I would suggest that practice isn't restricted to Democrats. Actually, Mitch McConnell & his wife are both good examples of Republicans doing the same thing. Many in Trump's cabinet have already been caught doing the same thing. Some have been convicted & are serving time. Trump himself is doing it thru his Hotel businesses, even as he serves as President. I agree, no one should be allowed to do that. Those that do should be charged with a crime & serve time--regardless of the party they work under.

I agree it is unusual except during a Presidential election campaign--which it is right now. There are examples of ex-Presidents getting involved in those campaigns from the sidelines--usually to help a nominee. I grant you Obama's recent statements regarding racism & Trump's public statements is a little unusual, but his statements are highly constructive & positive oriented--unlike Trump's. I see no harm in it.

If you feel that way, then either I am a very poor writer, or you are seeing only what you want to see in my writings. Either way is not good news. :(

Mitch McConnell is blocking ALL bills & single-handedly forcing the federal government into dysfunction.

I don't question the Majority Leader's right to block an occasional bill. I don't remember an example of Reid blocking bills, but I'm sure he did on occasion. Mitch is blocking EVERYTHING passed by the House. That's extremism & in opposition to his oath of office, which has him swear to uphold the Constitution, which mandates the Senate must work with the House to debate, consider, & pass or reject bills of law.

    1. I agree that both parties prefer working across the aisle when a bill seems to be in their favor. But many historic laws have passed because the two parties went beyond that basic desire to win, & worked with the opposing party to find a compromise that would satisfy both sides plus help the nation in some way. That's how it's supposed to work. I want to get back to that kind of cooperation between the parties again. The obstructionism is old & tiring & destructive to the government. It needs to stop.

Since Mitch McConnell controls the Senate absolutely, & Democrats are helpless to bring the bills to the floor for debate or votes, how do you conclude that Democrats are to blame for all the obstruction?

It appears, all you want to do is fight. You have no interest if finding solutions, just blaming someone for everything you feel is wrong--much like Trump. That's the general attitude I keep finding with most Republicans--the "My way or no way" attitude; the "Compromise is NOT an option" attitude. This is NOT what made America a great country. Indeed, it was the opposite. But you guys have concluded that we Democrats are no longer the "loyal opposition." To you, we are now the ENEMY. Such thinking leads to conflict, & conflict leads to places anyone with a brain never wants to go.

Trump & his minions envision an America I regard as a living nightmare. I hope it never comes to pass. I will oppose it in every way I can.

    Forgotten the Judiciary, have you?
You speak with all the credibility of a fourth grader who hasn't figured out long division yet holding forth on the Einstein Field Equations.

From your multiple reactions, you appear to be trying to wear down any who dare to oppose you with your deceptions about your own views and desires.

Once again, you fail. You claim to not see actions your masters commit or just plain ignore and rationalize them. You version of making progress requires that I bow to your negative outlook on the situation and I promise that this will never happen as it goes against all proof or logic or truth.

BTW, I regard your vision for America as a true nightmare and will fight and have fought to prevent it from ever coming to pass. Since you just continue to project your hate as that of others I fully expect you to attempt to turn this around, and once again fail. That is what you and your democratic masters do and have done for years.

No, you just want to promote your own perceived power over others and are willing to do anything, legal or not, to achieve that goal. Not going to happen.

Your version of what I want & who I am is so perverted & wrong, it doesn't even deserve a response.

    Yes.
Your performance here plainly indicates that to the extent they think like you, they should all be politically disempowered.

Yet you respond and rush to disclaim it. That would make it seem pretty accurate to an outside observer.

So much for any support for democracy from conservatives. Instead of working together with your political opponents, you simply "disempower" them. I can see why you support a demagogue like Trump.

Yet you seem to support socialism over the beloved democracy in all of your posts. Very telling as to your attitudes.

Remember, a democracy elected Trump in spite of your personal desires.

I support the modern Democratic Socialist form of government, because it is FAR MORE DEMOCRATIC than the U.S. is. You're wrong about Trump being "democratically elected." In any true democracy, every vote counts the same, and officials & politicians are elected by whoever gets the majority of those votes. But in America--& ONLY AMERICA--democracy is sidestepped by the Electoral College. In 2016, Hillary got about 3 million more votes than Trump nationwide, but the Electoral College gave the election to Trump. I am a Democratic Socialist because in countries under that system, those who get the most votes wins. That's real democracy--NOT the U.S.

"Working together with" people who think like you is arguably treasonous.
Which is precisely what you want to do to conservatives.
Before you could see that, you'd have to see that I support Trump. Which you don't; but of course he's a convenient albatross to hang around the neck of any conservative you haven't got brains enough to deal with straight up.
Which is not the least bit problematic, seeing democracy is most emphatically not one of our founding principles.

Have you received your paycheck from the democrats yet? They would have to make payments for anyone with even 1/4 of a brain to show this much support and blind obedience to a group of traitors and liars.

BTW, strange how the electoral college was fine until madam Hitler lost an election that she thought she had fixed. Blind obedience is not a good look for anyone who actually like this country. That would exclude you.

Hurts you claims when the truth comes out, doesn't it?

BTW, how nice of you to allow others to have opinions that differ from yours. Didn't know that you had that kind of assumed power.
