I see racism as a unique mental illness because it is one that is a choice. It is an act of will to NOT stop being a racist. It can be reversed if a person wants to eliminate such hate and irrational bias from his psyche.

If you understood the Constitution, you'd understand exactly what the Founders intended with the Bill of Rights. You wouldn't be reading the words and changing them into what you think they say. The Founders didn't want a standing army, which we now have the most deadly in the world, so they decided to have militias controlled by the states, even though they gave the federal government authority to raise an army and navy. If you can't disarm the people, you can't disarm the militia. That prevents a Tyrant from one state getting control over the others.
