    “In what is believed to be the largest single-state immigration enforcement operation in our nation's history, today at seven sites… ICE HSI (Homeland Security Investigation) special agents executed administrative and criminal search warrants resulting in the detention of approximately 680 illegal aliens,” Mike Hurst, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi, said Wednesday afternoon.

    “The arrests today were part of a year-long investigation,” ICE Acting Director Matt Albence added.

    Kudos to ICE for its largest single state raid ever.

    Those illegal aliens should be sent home asap.

    More raids are to come.

    If they lock up guys like this, it may help stop the influx of undocumented workers into the US. Ice should have arrested and locked up the people who are helping to bring these people here and paying them to stay. Upper management and owners should be in the slammer. However those guys are probably bi Trump fans.

    They need to prosecute the company as well, assuming they knew the people were not in the country legally

    So you are ok with those hiring and using these people as semi slave labor to ramp up profits? Those meatpacking plants used to be staffed with Union Workers making $35-$60 bucks an hour. Now they bring in undocumented workers and pay $10-$15 an hour. Right now those owners are rounding up some more Mexican butchers and transporting them to the border to keep their business profits up. Most of these guys that are being deported will be back in a couple weeks. We need to lock up and heavily fine the owners and management of these places. Wouldn’t you agree?

    Won’t happen. The owners are god fearing registered Republicans who are as shocked as anyone on the street (or in the unemployment office) that local management hired illegals at sub minimum wages and no benefits or Workman’s Compensation.
