Not possible, since illegal immigrants don't get crap
    https://www.cato.org/publications/i...tion-welfare-state-immigrant-native-use-rates
Illegal immigrants are ineligible for entitlement and means-tested welfare programs apart from emergency medical care.

You don't get to tell me what my motives are. My motives are that an American company can just fire an American citizen and replace it with a much cheaper illegal immigrant... with that it can outcompete companies who don't do that, and it doesn't get punished over it either. And they get away with it too. They don't care if them peeps are picked up, he'll just get new ones the next day. While Americans are put on social wellfare because illegal immigrants are taking their jobs. The illegal immigrants know this, and so they keep on coming.

Pff. People cross the border regardless.

Says the person who supports companies who hire illegal immigrants.

I think the fine in the EU is 20.000 Euro per illegal immigrant employed. If they catch one cleaning lady who resides illegally in the EU, who has like 20 customers to clean their houses.... that's a net profit for the government of 400K to pay for a couple of civil servants to deal with that. In the case of these 680 people found. Well you do the math. It can potentially bankrupt a company. It will make them wonder... is it going to be worth the risk? And no... them people form Syria aren't illegal immigrants, them are refugees. Something totally else, so don't go start there.

In one of the few remaining Western Democracies which retains stiff regulations on this stuff. We're infamous for it, in fact. BUT, it works.

Not talking about any "him" but we need to send back illegals and charge any business owners with a crime if they knowingly hire illegals or if they fail to properly process the I-9's.

You are for sending back illegals even if it means breaking up families?

    Why?

If Americans wanted these chicken killing chicken chopping jobs jobs why didn't Americans apply for them. You all know the answer. Americans do not wanted to work these types of low paying jobs.

Ramp up the guest worker program. Change the law so that the children born of guest workers are not automatically citizen just because they decided to get themselves born here.

Send the families back with them. Or do we fine them for breaking and entering the country and bar them from every getting citizenship?????

Just asking the question do we forgive them after a good punishment.

It is no secret for those of you who have been posting here firva while. I am an immigrant. Legal. Parents brought me with them after years in a refugee camp were I was born. My parents went through the process of interviews, background checks, English classes in the camps, training classes. My dad worked as a refugee camp security officer. My mom like other women in the camp worked in the cafeterias and sewing clothes until she got pregnant with me. I was the trouble maker.

Once we got here my dad's first several jobs were picking vegetables, then taking leaves cutting grass , shoveling snow then working in a bakery during the day my mom worked the night shift at the bakery comming home so my dad could go in for his shift. They did it legally.

You know that I told the story of being told to go back where I came from so I can sympathize with immigrants but I cannot sympathize with illegals. Illegals are not immigrants they are criminals.

I feel sorry for their kids but illegals knew that they were breaking the law.they put their own kids in jeaprogy.

Anyways at the fear of repeating yes we need to punish them.

I remember your story, its interesting.

How do you feel when people merely looking for generous handouts are referred to as (economic) refugees?

Tasmania?.....They work hard there also...Australia has different laws....They are stricter on corporations and undocumented workers, that violate the rules..Right Wingers would support that...But they allow a much larger perct of "guests workers".....Right Wingers would hate that

Well I am livid when anyone just wants a handout not just immigrants or illegals. I do not see as many Latino immigrants as those in the SouthWest but we do gave them here. The few ho I know are hard workers some have their own businesses such as landscaping, home remodeling, house cleaning. One who has done work for me came directly from Spain. The ones who I had encountered who were looking for a handout were from the former USSR. Some even though they came here legally they lied to immigration and got here as religiously persecuted but several of them never set foot in a church or synogogue once they got here. I know this stuff because I thought that they needed help and volunteered to write resumes and help them search for jobs. I realized that many of them were trying to con me as they conned immigration. They were given mega dollars as " refugees" and laughed at me telling me that my parents were stupid when they came here for working mental jobs and not taking advantage of the system. Not ghost my parents would have taken advantage but there was no refuee aid back then. The Catholic Relief agency gave my parents $7.50 when we got off the ship.

So yes I am pissed off when anyone cons the system, immigrant or one who can claim that their forefather jumped off the Mayflower. I do not tolerate anyone who tries to get something for nothing.

Iy dont have a problem with this, good to see the agency working, and I hope they have other investigations on going.

Find and punish to fullest extent anyone responsible from top to bottom, employees and employers.

Wonder why tRUMP supporting state would have employees illegally hiring illegal immigrants.
Now, what will tRUMP do to those illegal employers?

Now that those companies lost employers, hope they go out of business.

I wasn't aware that many posters were vehemently defending employers and think that they should be able to walk away Scott free.

If there are those then I do think they should reconsider that position.

Maybe it's just a question of what the definition of support is.

Lately on a lot of topics it feels like if one doesn't vehemently condemn something immediately before the facts come in then you must support it.

PS if you don't think illegal immigrants are receiving funds from the government outside of just Medical Care then you're really ignoring the obvious. you should really reconsider your position on that. The facts are out there and they've been repeated many times.
