Gun laws are ridiculous. See how easy it is for a 13 year old to get a gun.

That only proves that our 'fore fathers' were't as smart as some people thought they were.

That modern day gun laws are founded on a perversion of what our forefathers thought in the days of muskets and "regulated militia(s)" is ludicrous.

Can vote, can serve in the military, can buy a gun. Make adulthood 21, but be consistent.

So current policy/law is off the charts extreme looney in practice. Pet peeve. However, It is usually portrayed as normal or the moderate position in the press.

In practice, we have tax, economic, finance, healthcare, regulation, immigration policy/law that is also off the charts extreme—looney tune. Any attempt to put sunlight on it or change it, again, is normally portrayed as extreme.

An illustration of the depth of corruption in this country.

Actually, the producer lied, and the seller committed a federal felony offense unless there was an adult making that purchase for him which is something that video does not show, but you know that don't you.

If you believe that get off the internet because our forefathers never imagined anything but quill pens.

Va law prohibits the purchase and possession of anyone under 18 from an assault rifle, handgun, or shotgun.

There are certain exceptions with a parent involved.

Long rifiles like the one here that is bolt action and the dems say they have no problem with allow them to possess them

This only proves that you have no idea what his actual age is. Or whether or not there is an adult with him. Half the people I new when I was in the army thought I was sixteen when they first met me. Appearances can be really deceiving. By the way I qualified as expert with a .22 when I was in the Boy Scouts and 14 years old. At the same time that got me my first shotgun which was my constant companion as I traipsed about the country side hunting rabbits and squirrels. At that time there was no bag limit on either.

Either this was staged or the dealer broke the law. Pick one.

I don't know what you want linkes but since state laws will be the issue here, VA gun laws.
I stress the fact you nor I nor anybody watching this video have any knowledge what was said before the purchase, was an adult present and was a legal bill of sale made out to the adult with the child.
Virginia Code Title 18.2. Crimes and Offenses Generally § 18.2-308.2:1. Prohibiting the selling, etc., of firearms to certain persons

Any person who sells, barters, gives or furnishes, or has in his possession or under his control with the intent of selling, bartering, giving or furnishing, any firearm to any person he knows is prohibited from possessing or transporting a firearm pursuant to § 18.2-308.1:1 , 18.2-308.1:2 , 18.2-308.1:3 , 18.2-308.2, subsection B of § 18.2-308.2:01 , or § 18.2-308.7 shall be guilty of a Class 4 felony.  However, this prohibition shall not be applicable when the person convicted of the felony, adjudicated delinquent or acquitted by reason of insanity has (i) been issued a permit pursuant to subsection C of § 18.2-308.2 or been granted relief pursuant to subsection B of § 18.2-308.1:1 , or § 18.2-308.1:2 or 18.2-308.1:3 ;  (ii) been pardoned or had his political disabilities removed in accordance with subsection B of § 18.2-308.2 ;  or (iii) obtained a permit to ship, transport, possess or receive firearms pursuant to the laws of the United States.

    More if you need it,

"Always ask for I.D. It is only legal to privately sell a handgun to a Virginia state resident; 18 years of age or older. Long guns like rifles and shotguns may be sold to individuals 18 years of age and up. For FFL gun trades They have to be 21 years or older for handguns"

Your quote illustrates the nonsense in our laws perfectly.

"A person must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a rifle or shotgun from a licensed firearms dealer"

That doesn't answer the question. Where does it say that it's illegal, or that they are required to ask for an ID?

If they are required to ask for ID, are they also required to ask for a criminal background check to make sure they have not been convicted of a felony?

If so... that's the link I'm looking for. Because that's what would prove your statement.

I not only agree with this but I think the age of majority should be 25 across the board, guns, booze and pot, tobacco and voting. Think about it, should anyone under 25 and living with their parents be considered mature enough to do any of those responsibly? I think I'd probably throw in cell phones too.

I see. So there is no requirement to ask for ID or background check. So my point is made.
