America is never the wrong place for US citizens. America is the wrong place for every illegal alien though. You open borders types still don't understand that. 2020 is going to be a good year for Republicans...

Someone did it for me. You are wrong about it being worse if we are discussing fact. If we are discussing your opinion that murder is worse depending on the race of the killer and the method used, you are entitled to your opinion. It is disturbing that you find the loss of human life less severe when the killer is not white or doesn't use a gun.

If the corporations and wealthy would not hire them they would not be here...but cover their asses and just blame the innocent...

Ask any sanctuary city and they'll tell you, immigration is the federal government's job. Not sure how you think this falls on corporations...

Because if they had no income they would not come here. There should be a program to check their immigration status of applicants just like in Missouri to get a DL you must prove citizenship. There is an E Verify but it is voluntary which is a load and the illegals are here because corporations payoff the govt. representatives to not make verification nonmandatory..

Driver's licenses are issued by the state, totally separate issue. The solution here is simple, issue a deportation order the day a visa expires. ICE would then have good reason to go check places that might hire illegal aliens, leaving the private sector to do private sector work, not augmenting the federal government...

The majority of illegals I have known did not have a VISA they snuck into the country and bought fake ID's to exist upon. Yet our govt did nothing to stop it and that was from Reagan to Oblama...

Except illegals have higher such incidents, including DUIs. He should have never been in the country, making this a needless tragedy.

Another OP based on hypocrisy and a logical fallacy...not surprised. The immigration status had no bearing on the cause of the motorcycle accident and death.

    Bad analogy.

You can support legal immigration over illegal immigration, and legal firearm ownership over illegal firearm ownership, and still point out that supporting illegal immigration is supportive of the crimes they commit.

Not a logical fallacy at all.

Illegal immigration allows the only pathway, outside of visa lottery and chain migration, for criminals to enter the country.

Supporting a firearm owner despite a minor (even misdemeanor or less) violation, is not support of any kind of unrelated crime they commit. Bad logic.

We're not taking about minor violations.

We're talking about criminals who decided to get drunk, on a revoked license to drive, and drive anyway.

This man had a history of domestic violence, reckless endangerment, and DUI which is why he lost his license in the first place.

People like this would not get into the country if it weren't for supporting illegal immigration.

A LEGAL immigrant would have been deported after the first crime in 2011, but an ILLEGAL immigrant who commits multiple crimes is DEFENDED.

    https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/09/us/c...y-church-shutdown/index.html?no-st=1565292446

There is no excuse for this. Had this man been deported in 2011, as a legal immigrant would have been, the man he killed would still be alive.

So yes, I'll sit here and defend a non-criminal gun owner all day and call out illegal immigration.....with no logical fallacy whatsoever.

The correct analogy would be 2A supporters defending people convicted of violent crimes retaining their firearms....which we don't do.

That's what the left is doing: demanding criminals be allowed to enter and stay in the US.

    You aren't following.

If someone saws off a shotgun 1/32nd of an inch under the legal limit, and you think such barrel length restrictions are silly and support his right to cut his barrel, does that mean you support everything he does with that shotgun . . . including any accident he gets involved in involving that shotgun? No. Yet that is what you are arguing. Complete nonsense.

Speaking of logical fallacies...this post doesn't even mention the motorcycle accident.

Someone hasn't actually done any homework on the visa lottery or chain migration, both of which involve the same criminal background checks as any other kind of legal immigration.

If someone saws off a shotgun without a tax stamp they're committing a felony, so no I don't support that, even though the law is ridiculous on many fronts.

What is it about lawfulness that confuses you? And no, that's not what I'm arguing.

If 2A advocates were calling for people who committed crimes with firearms to be sheltered from the law you would have the correct analogy.

The left is calling for criminals with criminal histories who entered illegally to be protected.

Not the same thing at all.

Not even in the same universe.

A person illegally in the country who has domestic violence, felony endangerment and loss of his license for a DUI who proceeds to get drunk and drive again anyway isn't an accident.

Calling one law silly does not mean you support the breaking of unrelated laws broken by the same person who broke a law that you called silly. Let me know when that sinks in.

I'm not confused at all, but clearly you are. Your word jumble isn't going to work on me if you haven't noticed by now.

Leftists are demanding that people who are here illegally, with long histories of serious crimes, be protected.

2A advocates are not doing that.

So yes, I will sit here and argue for 2A rights and denounce illegal immigration all day, and you still don't have a valid point.

I have yet to find one who advocates that. Please quote one from here on the forums. Who has stated that anyone with a long history of violent crimes be protected in any respect beyond due process? I'll wait.

Yet you still don't comprehend the concept that you can call one law silly without advocating everything done by someone who violates that law. Weird.

No, he's recognizing reality. The fact that this guy who hit the Motocyclist was an immigrant has NOTHING to do with this or anything even remotely related to ANYTHING we are talking about

I truly can't BELIEVE anybody would post this **** and try to make something of it.
