Gun control is like trying to fix drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to get cars.

 

I feel the same about people who get an abortion or engage in the gay lifestyle, YMMV.

 

For hunting, target practicing, long range shooting, self-defense, and fighting potential tyranny.

She's a liberal democrat, this is no surprise. She would be better suited to the Obama administration than the Trump admin.

The classic bolt-action hunting rifle is a civilianized version of the Mauser 98 (which was used widely in two World Wars). The pump action shotgun has been used in all wars since it was invented. Even civilian revolvers are civilianized versions of weapons of war. That is the history of firearms technology. Most firearms were developed as war weapons.

That's why I voted against Trump twice. I knew he would cave on the 2nd amendment (he already caved for bump stocks, and tried to cave after Orlando and Parkland). My point is that it wasn't a surprise that Ivanka would sell conservatives out on the gun issue, as she's basically a NYC liberal (as is her father).

 

Probably closer to 20 million AR-15's and at least 1 million AR-10's that the MSM and uninformed public is completely ignorant of.

He's all in on it, McConnell has come out for it, Rubio is full speed ahead, ****ing CRENSHAW has rolled over etc. He's got his daughter working backchannels to work out language etc. He's made more than one comment about it.

There are already red flag laws on the books if the firearm is purchased from a Federally licensed dealer. Any mental issues and domestic abuse questions are on form 4473 along with a number of questions relating to citizenship and arrest records including dishonarable discharged military personnel. If the gun is sold through a private sale and the sale does not go through a FFL with a NICS check, many states make the seller responsible for what that firearm does for one year from the date of purchase. The red flag laws have a ton of flaws which have to be worked out such as loaning your gun to a relative for a hunt which would require a trip to the FFl dealer, followed by a (in some states) ten day waiting period, the hunt is over and it's back to the FFL and another ten days before the gun is returned to its original owner. This is not even mentioning the $80 dollar cost to transfer the gun twice. Now, if anybody thinks this proposed law would be followed by anybody, or do anything to reduce crime they are either a fool or an alt-leftie trying to make a point.

 

None of those are Red Flag laws.

 

Does that mean you preferred Hillary Clinton who said at every one of her campaign stops she would immediately by executive order re-instate her husbands assault weapon ban and register with the government everything else until proper legislation could be passed.

Literally every party leader of the Republican party, and Donald Trump, AND key policy tells in his administration (his daughter) have all said in no uncertain terms they want red flag laws.

And here you are saying "in word only" like politicians DO anything else but talk.
Trump does not support gun rights.
