Build it into the background check, it’s automatic and takes no additional time.

Y’all are running out of excuses

Build it into the background check portion. The information is immediately transmitted.

Do you support registration and ID to vote? Yes or no?

I know she served 10 days in jail

But unless you have proof she was fired dont make assumptions

Government is easily capable of holding her job till she got out

I’m not making excuses just pointing out that there will be a cost which future anti gun libs can raise whenever they please

Not one of the shooters that I am aware of would have been stopped by this new restriction on honest gun owners

Several would have been flagged for multiple purchases in a short period. The Dayton one should have been flagged by using legal loopholes to make his handgun into a semiautomatic by purchasing parts that don’t require any type of background check. Killing 9 people in around 30 seconds.

You don't need to listen to me. Just take the number of people in a given year who absolutely needed a high powered rifle to defend themselves and divide it by 300 million. Or you could just compare the number of people who needed a high powered rifle to the number of people who died of, say, cardiovascular disease.

But you already knew your gun fantasies are ridiculous. You know that you're never going to be in a situation where you get to mow down MS13 members with your awesome death machine. And that is probably a bitter pill to swallow.

So you solution is we should do anything because it might cost a gun purchaser a few extra minutes during their initial purchase?

I support automatic voter registration and a voter ID system to combat fraud, illegal voters, and vote duplication. Care to have the integrity to answer what I have asked five times now?

    Re:

Your reading comprehension appears to be as dismal as your grasp of reality, knowledge of firearms & slanderous character assessment.

I have already been in 3 situations in which I had to deploy my firearm to defend myself and my unarmed neighbors from MS13 type thugs.
I would not be writing this today if I had not been armed in those 3 instances that were far from "fantasies".

I would also have been entirely justified in shooting any of the individuals whose intent was not to make me or my neighbors any healthier, happier or wealthier but I chose not to.

So, be grateful for your pampered existence & don't slander people about whom you know absolutely nothing.

What we currently do is working just fine. Has there ever been a mass shooting in the US where the gun serial number was not identified ?? There is no benefit to gun registration. Registration solves nothing.

If you want to make a point then make it instead of asking the same question five times.

    Lol, you are funny.
Who are you to decide what is needed or what isn’t? That’s for the individual to decide, not you and definitely not the government.

The primary reason to own these “high powered death machines” is to keep that government in check. Why would we allow it to limit what weapons we can own when the whole purpose is to keep them in check? You make no sense.

no it's your logic to say well why do we have no laws because I don't support an idiotic law.

you want to deny them their constitutional rights. Why should they be treated like second-class citizens?

I think they should be treated equally. There's no reason to deny them the right to own firearms kisses are there going to be a victim of crime not the perpetrator of it.

It's really kind of big is it the view to think that they shouldn't be allowed to have their constitutional rights.

    a strawman of a strawman

Items that commonly kill people should not have less regulation than voting does. You cannot answer because it destroys your premise of “rights”.

What we are doing now is not working.

Ok, so you want a real life scenario? I'll give you one; I live on the eastern shore of Maryland near Ocean City. I'm in the middle of nowhere in a somewhat depressed area, and if I call the police because some tweaker is trying to get into my home they aren't going to get there in a moment's notice. It is therefore my responsibility to take my safety and the safety of my family into my own hands.

That is year round; it's way worse in the summer when all the dregs within a 50 mile radius congregate on the area.

I don't really care if they beef up background Checks. I don't think it'll do any good because of the state the NICS database is in.

I think that would be a good place to start.

Firearms have much more regulation than voting does. You need an ID to legally buy a gun from a dealer.

How is what we are doing now not working ??

That was great. He gets it. Gun control deprives law abiding citizens the ability to defend themselves but it does nothing to deprive criminals from using guns.
