It is high comedy that England created the problem called "Brexit" and now expects the E.U. to resolve it.

Oh Christ, another Mick with a justified sense of his own inferiority.

Come 1 November all sides will say dear oh dear, something must be done about the border so we will let things carry on as they are for a bit but all the heads of state will get together and discuss the matter and come up with nothing and agree to another meeting .....

I dare say that the IRA will take the opportunity to murder a few women and children and Nancy Pelosi will cheer on her brave lads while the Loyalists do the same thing when the Protestant murder gangs respond, but at the end of the day nothing will change.

Because the majority in NI don't currently want a united Ireland.
This may change after Brexit but never underestimate how strongly the Unionists feel about this.
Over 500 people were killed by Unionists during the ''troubles''.

Unite ROI and NI in a Brexit customs union then.
Allow ROI to be both a part of Brexit and a part of the EU.
    Like Hong Kong to China.
    Give Ireland special status.
    Ireland are EU.
Ireland is connected to the UK in the British Isles.
Ireland is close to the UK culturally.
Why can't EU see the potential in a successful Brexit?
    Why can't Ireland?
It's stupid to break up a country to keep NI in an EU customs union, have UK pay a divorce bill, and lock UK to the EU without a vote.

UK and Ireland aren't part of the Schengen Agreement because UK and Ireland argued island status and felt borders were needed.
Why not go the whole hog and invite Ireland to have Brexit customs and ability to trade with whoever UK finds to trade with? Make Ireland a special part of the EU.

If Henry the VIII can divorce a pope, we can divorce Brussels.
Did Henry VIII pay the catholic church when he pulled us out of papal rule?
Ireland can worship who they want, but so can UK.
EU is a modern times church. UK is Brexiting again.

so why is the UK not doing a Henry. Just leave. Why ask for one extension after a nother. Why the political turmoil within the UK.
Concerning Brexit, there is none in the EU, they are completely relaxed.

If there's another extension, Boris Johnson will have to call a general election and face the collapse of his party. It's going to be Brexit or general election.

You ask why can't Ireland see the potential of a successful brexit. I suspect Ireland has looked and seen that there is no potential success.
Even the present British government frame brexit as damaging, and are desperately trying to arrange damage limitation measures...'operation yellowhammer'.
There is no future success looming after brexit, and nothing that has been claimed or suggested is better than remaining.
The only 'success' will be to try to say the will of the people has been observed, but even that will be wrong because the word 'leave' does not mean 'stay joined', and the land border will mean stay joined without heavy duty controls.

Like Trump, Boris Johnson is a Prince of Darkness.
Don't be taken in, look at reality (which they try to dismiss as fake news).
Both men are plain evil with no redeeming qualities.

Sounds exactly right. As for your supposedly lying down for the US, if Ireland is not sorted in a way which is agreeable to the people there you can send your US trade deal which is massively inferior to anything we had in the EU, to hell. England will have nothing.

He's trying to own the NHS.
That same NHS that Brexit was supposed to save.
