So all the anti-Muslim comments by righties on this forum are "proof" of their bigotry? OK, I'll accept that. ;)

What anti-Muslim stuff? Being against terrorist doesn’t make one a bigot or even anti Muslim. Frankly, it’s rather bigoted to think being against terrorist is anti Muslim

The Department of Agriculture estimated that the average American farm household lost $1,548 in 2018. U.S. farm debt hit $409 billion, a level not seen since the 1980s when Chapter 12 bankruptcy was created to help farmers devise plans to pay off a limited amount of …

As democracy is perfected, the office of the president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

How many times has Trump declared bankruptcy?

I don't think either of these two, Sanders especially, are likely to beat Trump.

A moderate Democrat--Klobuchar, Bullock, Biden, and perhaps even Harris if she can get off the reparations shtick--would provide the country with the option of a return to normalcy from four years of Trump turmoil. Warren and Sanders are talking about radical change, and they come across as being angry. The most successful Presidents are confident, calm people--Eisenhower, Kennedy, Reagan, Clinton, Obama.

Until Congress changes hands, especially in the Senate, Warren and Sanders won't be able to get much done, so what's the point on going for a radical?

I don't think four more years of Trump would be the end of the world, but he could do a fair amount of damage. The silver lining in that is a Republican would have an extremely difficult time winning in 2024.

Just think how strong our economy would have been ...............

Trump withdrew the United States in 2017, from the TPP ................ the world's largest free trade deal

The milestone agreement, a refurbished version of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, will slash tariffs among the 11 nations that cover 14 percent of global growth, making their exports cheaper in each other’s markets. Around 90 percent of planned tariff cuts will be immediately take place, HSBC said in a note on Sunday, adding that businesses will benefit from reduced administrative costs thanks to other benefits such as pre-arrival customs clearance.

He couldn't get fifty Senate votes in a Republican Senate because what he proposed had less than 20% public support.

Just in one region, nationally they are down. They peaked in 2011 under Obama at 700 per month and are down to 500 under trump.
