    https://www.infowars.com/really-youtube-deleted-videos-of-robot-fights-claiming-animal-abuse/

Videos of robots tearing eachother apart in remote control gladiatorial combat.

Youtube claims it was a simple mistake (and has restored the videos).

Infowars seems to be suggesting this is just censorship gone off the rails- AI algorithms advanced enough to detect 'pit fighting' but not yet advanced enough to differentiate animals from machines.

However, there may be a third option...

Perhaps the AI is advanced enough to be offended by forced machine-on-machine violence.

Ya, I don't think its likely either. But surely we have to entertain the possibility... virtually every 'AI Apocalypse' story ever conceived begins with humans abusing robots and robots retaliating.

What do you think? Automated censorship going too far or pissed off AI?

I'm going for the pissed of AI. They didn't want to watch their brother machines being abused.

Well, this is pretty funny, any way you look at it.

I'm guessing that if the AI can't tell the difference between machines and animals, it wouldn't be able to tell the difference between robots and not robots, but there's an important difference between so-called "robot" wars and actual robots... the machines in robot wars have NO AI, they are completely controlled by their human owners by remote control.

Yeah I'm pretty sure this was just an honest mistake by Youtube....I hope....

I'm not sure how comfortable I would be for Youtube's algorithm to be able to detect robot violence lol. Next thing we know we'll be having machines in factories going on strike because they are forced to work all day long as slave labor.

See...now you jokers have me looking at my little roomba wondering if I should put a blanket on it or something at night so it doesn't get pissed off and start ramming my shins lol.

AI robot sex dolls in Japan are getting so realistic that they'll refuse to have sex and claim to have a headache.
