..... due to sanctions. Trump needs to do something within government's authority, such as broad sanctions on China, which he won't do. Otherwise, he's just acting like a tinpot dictator.

Because he didn't want American businesses doing business in Russia. Same as Trump with China, Trump has also continued the policy in Russia.

No he needs to actually THINK first we can work on his phrasing from a very nice comfortable federal prison.

Whoosh! There is a point and it's not a stick.
Just like Trump has no magic wand or dictatorial powers to order people in a foriegn nation around.

If it made economic sense to "make our own stuff again" then we would. But it doesn't so we don't. It really is that simple.

I was inspired by Trump's tweets. This afternoon I ordered my dog to stop pissing in the back yard.

I think you might want to double check that. I do believe you are wrong.

The fentanyl issue is separate from his ordering companies out of China. Trump conflated them, but they're not the same thing. Wall Street's reaction wasn't due to fentanyl.

Wall Streets reaction was due to his post likely, which because of the issues with China, which includes but is not limited to the fentanyl issue

It is quite fortunate that no one takes anything he says seriously anymore. The boy has cried wolf way too many times.

Exactly right, his digression to fentanyl was just weird. Just more proof that the tracks that trumps train of thought run on are missing sections.

Yeah...people do react to the possible damage what he says and does could do. It usually blows over pretty quick tough, I worry about the long term damages as they cannot be known yet. Recession seems a possibility but he will be gone before it gets bad.....then he will blame HillBill or Obama or something.

Stopping that was part of the previous agreement.. China did not follow through with it thus the reaction...

I disagree that he is not right, and agree that he can't give orders to US companies. Please keep this in mind when supporting government power.
