That would be accuracy since sex has to do with what the body was born as and the gender is the inner self or mind. A trans man will always have a female sex and always have a male gender regardless of whether they transition or not.

The US was not founded upon Christian principles. It was founded upon principles that were and are common to many systems, both religious and not.

Language evolves and changes. If you want to take this tack then you also need to claim that gay does not mean homosexual nor does ****** or queer. Actually come to think about it, queer no longer means homosexual.

That being said, I can see, as we learn more on the separation of sex and gender, where male/female would apply to sex and man/woman would apply to gender. Thus a trans man is a female man.

They choose a unique combination of principles when forming the country. If Christian principles were the foundation of the country, why were there not any other countries like the US since Christianity was dominating the Western world?

Newspeak is Gibberish that means nothing.

It's always this sematic crap with you and I'm not interested in it.

Yes but out founding fathers were not influenced by other religions . They were influenced by the teachings of Jesus as were all the philosophers from northern Europe.

For you, Newspeak is anything you don't agree with. If you can't handle he reality tht language changes and shifts, especially as new knowledge arises, that is your problem. You'll just fall behind.

Gender is yours self, not your body. Sex is your body.

    According to who....YOU?
They did not mention this Jesus you speak of and in fact tried to make sure such thingys didn't get to play in the nations bidness. It may very well be that some of those guys were Christian or something similar, but they knew it had no place in governing people.

    This history:
"Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man"- Thomas Jefferson

"And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter. But we may hope that the dawn of reason and freedom of thought in these United States will do away with all this artificial scaffolding, and restore to us the primitive and genuine doctrines of this the most venerated reformer of human errors."- Thomas Jefferson

"The way to see by faith is to shut the eye of reason."- Ben Franklin

"I looked around for God's judgments, but saw no signs of them."- Ben Franklin

"This would be the best of all possible worlds if there were no religion in it"- John Adams

"Of all the tyrannies that affect mankind, tyranny in religion is the worst."- Thomas Paine

"Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprise."- James Madison

I have plenty more, they were quite vocal on the subject.
Feel free to quote a few excerpts where the founders proclaimed this is a Christian nation or that is is founded on the principles of such.

No, you have not. Attempting to escape your comment and the request for clarification with such an abysmal tactic is beyond pathetic in its feeble and weak minded failure. I again ask for your explanation and data.

I am sorry you don't like it but that's not my fault. It is an undisputable fact that the biggest influence on the founding fathers was the Christian faith, whether imparted as their own beliefs or through social influences such as culture and parenting.
    It is inescapable.
The constitution is the culmination of European human experience and the Christian faith primarily protestant sects of the Christians faith brought about by the reformation.
The founding fathers were christian, Christian theist and non Christian theist.
All of which agreed with the primary moral tenants of christianity.

You don't have to like it. But this is common knowledge that is not open for debate.

I see...so your commentary was personal opinion based on assumption and the requested data is not available or non existent. Basically I am to simply accept your word rather than research as I usually do...that is not good enough and your position is void. The base Christian influence of the time in no way gives the support for your "Cristian Nation" supposition and never has...there is very good reason for the separation clause and they all knew it, thus was it written. I do not care if you follow one God or another, but I very much care if my government does.

false newspeak is anyone trying to say words don't mean what they mean.

so male and female don't mean sex? I wasn't aware of this change.

yes gender is a mood. That's why I don't care about it.

I did not say anything about a Christian nation, i am talking about what influenced the founding fathers.
I am not suggesting that we should have a Christian government.
The only thing i am saying is that Christian values shaped our country by having an influence in the founding fathers..

You clearly are not listening to what i am saying.

    But here you go...

That I can agree with, Christian "Values" as stated in the Bibles most definitely influenced them and everyone else....so did Deism.

Absence of historical subject matter knowledge duly noted FTR!

The KEYSTONE founding document was the Magna Carta which was drafted when EVERYONE still belonged to the Catholic church.

Secondly the ONLY REASON there were NOT more Catholics involved in the founding of our nation was because it was ILLEGAL for Catholics to hold elected office at that time.

The HISTORY of the BLOODSHED between Catholics and Protestants was WHY the Founding Fathers chose to form a SECULAR Federal Government.

You have already been supplied with multiple quotes from the Founding Fathers on their opinion of the NEGATIVE IMPACT that religion has upon any government of the people.

The CONCEPT of SELF GOVERNMENT by We the People was NOVEL at that time. It abolished the concept of monarchies and theocracies and elevated We the People to become our own SECULAR rulers instead.

By SEPARATING Church FROM State this rid We the People of the kinds of religious bigotry and hatred that had plagued all of "christian" Europe centuries.

The Founding Fathers essentially gave us our FREEDOM FROM RELIGIOUS OPPRESSION.

It's not secular, it's representative with restrictions about creating a state religion or restricting the abilities of people to practice their religions.
No one has a freedom from religion, only the freedom from having to be a certain religion due to state mandate or to be persecuted due to your religion.
Freedom from religion gives the impression that you have the right to never have to encounter anothers religion.
We do not have a secular government!
    Secularism IS a religion!
