Yep, guns + Americans is the recipe for a shooting. Like the man says ... "It's the person, not the gun, that murders". Remove guns from America and the shootings will stop - completely.

 

There are so many guns in circulation that it will be impossible to remove guns and stop shootings. No one has had a viable answer yet. I don’t have a problem with people owning them on their own property, but this concealed carry BS needs to stop. And open carry is just plain stupid.

 

The article has the police chief talking about illegal guns, but no details on how he knows this shooter obtained a gun illegally. Can anyone explain that?

For those of you who are the ones who perennially whine that the Big Bad news media does not report things because they are a conspiracy need to go and look at what is being reported before you shine about media conspiracy.

You would think that 7 people being shot would have Kamala Harris running to a CNN microphone, but as far as I know she's not. Why?

How is it that we live in the greatest country on the planet yet we have 4 cities listed in the top most dangerous cities in the world, they being Detroit, Baltimore, St Louis and New Orleans. Where is the outrage on the left? Here are the reasons why I think there's no outrage:

Can't blame racism
Can't blame the need for more gun laws when those cities already have them
Can't politicize the shootings
Highlights the failures of democrat ruled cities
Would put a spot light on who is committing the murders at a statistically incredible rate

We live in a country where the daily murders in certain cities by certain people has become an acceptable way of life. If guns were really to blame, then murders would be equally spread out among the population, instead they're mostly concentrated in specific cities.

So, by getting to work at eliminating guns (finding new ways) and better control on manufacturing/importing/smuggling them ... the closer you come to approaching zero.

I think you need to concentrate on English comprehension. If you disagree with what I've said or don't like what I say then the least you can do is level your criticism against what I actually said. Can you try to do that?

What do I expect? I expect a breathing period, a cut-off date for people to turn in their guns with cash reimbursement. Law-abiding Americans will do exactly that, obviously.

 

In some neighborhoods, parties are an excuse for a shooting. The article said the seven shooting victims range in age from 18-20, so you'd have to assume most or all of the crowd was that age. Why does a 2 year old have a 'birthday party' at night with 20 or 30 (or more) teenagers? Was it a DNA test?
