And yet, our annoited grand pooba messiah said he would solve the cost problem. And then obamacare did NOTHING absolutely NOTHING to address the cost of health care, it only punished the payors of health care, and drove up the cost by 300% of health insurance and drove up the out of pocket maximums by 250% and resulted in still 31 million uninsured. Nice job. And Biden wants to expand that disaster. Unbelievable really.

Consumer prices for other consumer items were not increasing as well, at that time. It had more to do with wages being kept down due to a poor employment situation. I think it had to do with an overall situation rather than health care costs specifically.
