    Prove Obama's scandals?

    Not a problem:

    https://www.heritage.org/political-process/commentary/obamas-scandal-free-administration-myth

I realize you will refuse to look at the link I provided, as it does not come from the liberal/progressive/socialist echo chamber.

And I also realize that many leftists, including yourself, will not read anything that isn't written by one of the many Democratic Party operatives who pose as journalists for the mainstream media. Thus, you can rejoice in your ignorance and continue to repeat the myth that your Dear Leader was scandal-free. Except for the nonsense about a tan suit that you guys revel in.

It's quite pathetic, but certainly not unexpected...

Of course. Which is why I cited restaurants, a high-labor-cost industry, as sort of a worst-case example.

*Shrug.* It’s big enough that you can save money by limiting labor costs.

But you could double wages, and the price of a car would go up just 10%-15%.

And you would lose significant market share or profitability. That's a big shrug.

    Evidence

I not only wouldn't pay him $15 and hour. I wouldn't hire him.

When it’s a national minimum wage, not so much. Everyone has to pay it.

Profitability? A bit. But not that much. Precisely because for most industries, labor is only a fraction of your total costs. But yeah, when you give a larger share of the income pie to workers, it means a little less for the business owner.

And everybody can buy fewer products resulting in reduced economic growth. No free lunch.

Profit margins are based on risk. Increasing total labor costs without increasing prices increases the risk to the business. Business failure results in no jobs.

Again, the research disagrees with you, At least at the wage levels being discussed, prices go up hardly at all, and job losses are minimal. All in exchange for greatly increasing the income of low-wage workers.

You seem to constantly overstate the impact of raising the minimum wage, ignoring both the benefits and the actual data.

And you raise labor costs to 20 to 30% and that's just the obvious costs. You'd also add to the cost of workmen's comp insurance, SS matching and a host of other things that generally aren't considered part of labor costs. And then there is the collective echoing of cost up and down the supply chain.

The research you refer to is flawed.

You claim that if employers are forced to increase wages the economy will grow. That’s not true and actually a form of the broken window fallacy.

Exactly. The research that the minimum wage increase disciples advocate only consider the short term benefits to a small group and ignore the long term costs to the general population. It’s basically “breaking windows to create an increase in labor wages” and claiming that this is good for the economy. You will see this every time a hurricane causes damage - someone will insist that this is good for the economy because it creates work.

Report: Wilbur Ross Threatened To Fire NOAA Employees After Birmingham Statement
    https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/wilbur-ross-noaa-hurricane-dorian-alabama-trump

"Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross called acting NOAA Administrator Neil Jacobs from Greece to threaten him and top officials with termination if they didn’t contradict a statement from the Birmingham, Alabama office undermining President Donald Trump’s bogus Hurricane Dorian meteorology."

What would happen to Repubs if this happened during a Dem presidency?

Everything we know about Baby Donald's behavior regarding the faked weather map and its aftermath, as well as numerous other incidents (not to mention the 3 sources used for the story), makes the story extremely credible.

But hey, I totally understand why your blind devotion to Don and the useful but inaccurate "fake news" meme is being utilized by you to deny the obvious truth.

Well, when you consider an unqualified cabinet head who was hired because he's a billionaire and should have been fired for lying to Congress about the census warned a federal agency whose mandate is to protect the public from severe weather to stop contradicting the prez when he incorrectly warned residents of AL about impact from Dorian, there's plenty to be upset about if you are a concerned citizen of the US. But since you aren't, but rather are blindly obedient to Don's buffoonery, I can see why you are confused.

The reason you don't get it is because you're concerned about what Donald Trump says.

I'm more concerned about what he does. I think that's the divide.

I have to disagree. It isn't only his idiotic tweets or infantile behavior that degrades of the office of the POTUS I object to. It's also doing things........like sabotaging the ACA and degrading the environment.
