Congrats to the president for winning in NC 9 tonight. It was a 12+ Trump district, but our nominee won by 2 points. I can't believe it was actually competitive for the dems, but hats off you all for your best effort. You all don't get any participation trophies though.

I used to be a democrat who was so excited to vote for Obama in 2008, because I thought he was going to bring real change for the better. Boy I was an idiot wasn't I? He made race relations worse and he screwed up our healthcare. I'm now lean right, but more independent. I'm sorry I made a mistake, Obama didn't just fool me, he fooled a lot of people.

Obama did more damage to race relations than anyone in the last 50 years.

He was a very divisive president indeed.

Well the democrats in general have given up on the working class in general. Why? I don't know. It's like they hate rural voters and farmers.

It's a red state. Hardly an earth shattering result.

In an historic 12% Republican area a 2% win shows really short coattails. In fact we can probably correctly say his coattail show are a minus ten percent.

Yeah, cause people don't move or anything. There is no migration from NY to the south by the boomers, who are bringing their NY liberal ideologies with them as they escape the tax hell they created for everyone else stuck there. It really doesn't take long for the leftist to ruin a city or state and pick up and move somewhere to ruin that city and state, like locus. Best hope for the country is the pledge of the leftist to not have offspring till climate change is taken care of, and that's never going to happen.

The districts are distinctly Red, so the victories were to be expected.

The narrowness of the victory margins were much closer than expected.

No change in overall House numbers, though, but congrats to the winners.

The democrat candidates held huge leads in the polls until just recently. Gee, I wonder what happened?

Immaterial. It's a red state and the red state voters came out. That's what happened. So Trump has pulled no closer.

Okay. That means Trump will win the Presidency again next year. Thanks for the endorsement.

Doesn't matter, does it. Democrats lost, republicans won. Good luck next year.

Like I said - it is a red state. The outcome was expected by everyone - except you for some reason.

Okay, then when the red states that voted for Trump in 2016 vote for Trump again and he wins the Presidency again next year, everyone will accept the outcome.

Hey dems, chin up. 2nd place is very very nice, Hillary is a winner people, she came in second. We are so proud of her too. McCready can have himself a nice big blue ribbon he can pin on his shirt and walk around all day feeling swell.
