What is clear to the rest of us is obviously going to be noticed by those closest to him - Trump is not well mentally. The stupidity around the Alabama hurricane nonsense is so bizarre the only parallel I can think of is Captain Queeg's strawberry obsession.

His decline is very steep and it's very public. The entire world is simply shaking their heads and I think the general feeling about Trump is transitioning from anger and disbelief to sympathy.

We’ve heard it all since before Republican primaries.

    So?

It's all anonymous gossip from NeverTrumpers, eGOP, the Deep State, and Fake News. All of whom have axes to grind.

Trump's a fighter who doesn't accept losing on anything. And remember that Captain Queeg was the hero of the Caine, and that the mutineers were found guilty by the Navy eventually (in the book), and admitted they were wrong (in the movie).

I'm sure you watched the movie, "The Caine Mutiny," but have you read the book ?

The book use to be required reading for all JAG lawyers.

Lt. Tom Keefer (Fred MacMurray in the movie) would be the MSM and the Democrats in Congress today.

The less you know about it, the better it is for America.

    Trust me :)

I’ll still take trump over Pocahontas, Biden or Sanders.

So, unless Dems manage to find someone sane, it’s trump for me.

Warren promises to ban fracking through executive order on her first day in office

That alone makes her too crazy to be president

It certainly won't improve now that congress is "officially" proceeding with impeachment activities.

I don't know which would be better: impeachment and removal from office, invoking the 25th Amendment due to Trump's mental state, or voting him out next year. I waffle back and forth.

On the one hand, it would be great to vote him out in a clear landslide, along with the Dems gaining the majority in the Senate if possible. The look on his face, the hate that would sputter and spew from his little cake hole, would be priceless.

On the other hand, Trump's administration is in such disarray, with so many important positions either vacant or filled by "acting" officials who don't require Senate confirmation, and he is so clearly acting against constitutional law where his personal business holdings are concerned, plus the several clear cases of obstruction of justice detailed in the Mueller Report ... how much abuse can the Oval Office take? Congress needs to stop focusing on what will get them re-elected and do their jobs before he screws up something that can't be fixed or reversed.

Is it "anonymous gossip" when it comes out of his own mouth? Or his Twitter account?

I'm genuinely curious: What would it take for Trump to lose your support? I ask this of many Trumpsters but never get a clear of coherent answer.

I don't think Trump's mental state is to the point where the 25th could or should be used. Best to leave him be until election day. He'll do more damage in office than Democrats could ever hope for.

Do you think we the people should just ignore his incompetence? His lack of knowledge? His destruction of our standing in the world?

If you're basing his fitness to serve on tweets....well, move along, nothing to see here.

If he doesn't make significant progress on the wall or if he caves on gun control he'd lose my support.

Republicans are willing to accept a lot of crazy behavior on Trump's part, if it ever occurs, as long as he keeps repairing what past administrations (Republican and Democrat) have screwed up.

Reagan's dementia in his last couple of years was sad to see.

GW Bush wasn't mentally incompetent, but he was "The C Student."

His father wasn't mentally incompetent, but he was kind of a dirty old man, and pretty clueless about how we the people lived our lives (rich people don't get it).

Bill Clinton's inability to keep it zipped was disgusting, as was Hillary's seeming acceptance of that.

Obama's hesitancy to throw his presidential weight around and keep his promises was diasappointing.

However, NONE of them were so clearly incompetent, crooked, and unfit for the office as Trump keeps proving himself to be.

LOL! And I'm often wondering how many years it will take to undo Trump's damage.

Trump is well on his way to being one of our greatest presidents. Certainly the greatest, along with Reagan and Eisenhower, since WWII. People are already scoping out the location on Mt. Rushmore for his visage.

As for the rest of the world, who cares what they think? They're jealous of the last remaining superpower and have enormous chips on their shoulders. It's Pax Americana that's kept the world safe for nearly a century, and it's Trump who's Making America Great Again.

Leftists may never undo Trump's damage. He's singlehandedly shown the media to be handmaidens to the Democrat party. The Democrats have been exposed as the racists and America haters they've long been suspected of being. The Deep State has proved that we can't trust big government, and the woeful state of PC culture causing our colleges and universities to be overrun with totalitarian wannabes has destroyed the Left for decades to come.

Liberals didnt wait for the last two years of reagan’s term to attack him as unqualified

Nor did they ever accept bush as the legitimate president

The left also attacked bush41 as out of touch and gerald ford

    Thats the lib MO

And according to them each one is the worst there ever was

Who is he fighting for? Real wages are stagnant, he gave 85% of the tax cuts to people making 400,000 per year, and he's trying to take away an ironclad guarantee against higher rates for preexisting conditions for heath care insurance.

They seem hellbent upon looking for excuses, mostly imagined, for supporting the Orange Oaf.
