That was the BLOTUS's name for AG Sessions.

So let's just examine what constitutes "abuse" of these names?

There is no doubt that the BLOTUS does abuse it because he ALWAYS means it in a disparaging manner as opposed to being an accurate and truthful representation of the person themselves.

Do you agree that defines abuse of these terms?

I understand your point but you have missed mine. If you you prefer to play the insult game and play it repeatedly then play it with those that find starting and ending every single post with insults acceptable and will gladly respond with more insults, not my cup o tea.

So basically we're done here, carry on.

That common misconception was promoted by the Russians to sow division among Dems.......and it worked.

Almost anytime someone uses the word "ALWAYS", it can immediately be discounted as inaccurate. Virtually nothing in this wold is "ALWAYS".

Yes. And the Orange Buffoon has said he will not debate his opponents in an effort to marginalize them. He prefers doing his stand-up shtick in front of fawning Trumpette's to being forced to defend his abysmal record against traditional Repubs.

I don't think there are many Republicans who abandoned the party. If you go back to election day 2016, 27% of the electorate identified themselves as Republicans, 30% as Democrats and 40% as independents. As of 14 Aug 2019, 27% still identify with the Republican Party, 29% with the democrats and 40% as Independents.

I also don't look at Sanford as a viable challenger. 82% of Republicans want Trump to run for reelection, question 65. 68% of Republicans have a very favorable view of Trump, another 21% a somewhat favorable view for a total of 89% favorable among all Republicans. Question 47A.

    https://d25d2506sfb94s.cloudfront.net/cumulus_uploads/document/3gj4ffirhi/econTabReport.pdf

I'd say the vast majority of Republicans are happy with Trump. Now I'd go to question 43 and look at independents, the generic presidential vote. 26% of independents say they'll vote for the Democratic candidate, 29% for Trump, 19% say it depends. My take on the it depends means that depending on who the democrats nominate will decide their vote. Another 25% of independents say they won't vote. That doesn't surprise me. Independents are a lot less to non-partisan, not very political ideological and usually dislike both major parties or they wouldn't be independents. Go to questions 67A and 67B and you can see how independents view the two major parties congressional critters. 56% have a negative of Democrats, 57% of Republicans. Yet it is independents that usually decide national elections. Both major parties have now shrunk below the 30% mark in their total of the electorate. 27% for the GOP, 29% for the Democrats. No love for either party among all Americans. Question's 48A and 48B shows only 22% of independents view the Democratic Party in a positive light, 23% the Republican Party. Among all Americans, 40% have a favorable view of the Democrats, 38% of the Republican Party. Half of all Americans dislike both.

A quick history of party affiliation thanks to Pew.

The more accurate way to put it is Trump voters have abandoned the principles on which the GOP was founded and have become a cult of personality without being grounded by anything..........except the whims of what President Flim Flam says on any given day.

You are using too short of a time frame IMO.

    https://news.gallup.com/poll/15370/party-affiliation.aspx

The high point for GOP affiliation was 2004/2005 when they were in the 38/39 percent range.

And that is when the extremist right wing started taking over and using the tactic of eliminating the moderate GOP members and replacing them with extremists via the Primaries.

In January of 2016 the GOP could still manage to scrape up 30% of the electorate and nowadays 27% is their high point.

So from 39% down to 27% is effectively a loss of one third of the GOP no longer wanting to be affiliated with it. Yes, they do still lean GOP but they are no longer beholden to support the party. That means that they are free to NOT vote for the incumbent in 2020.

And the important question is what would it take to get them to want to support the BLOTUS?

Yes, the electorate in general does not like the two major for obvious reasons since BOTH pander to the Wall Street Casino Bosses to the detriment of We the People.

Pew Research shows the GOP at 30% in 2004 and 29% in 2005. Democrats at 33% each year.

    https://www.people-press.org/interactives/party-id-trend/

You're correct on Gallup, but most of that is the 9-11 effect. Regardless, 2004 and 05 was way before Trump. Even Gallup shows the GOP dropping to a low of 28% in July 2005. Pew shows the GOP at 29% for 2005. Which I think the 9-11 effect had finally worn off Bush and the Republicans. In 2006 the Democrats would have a blue wave and win congress back, both the house and the senate.

That shows you how far the Republican Party had fallen. Even so, the GOP is pretty much right where they were back in July of 2005. I think most Republicans think the worst Republican is always better than the worst Democrat and vice versa. Democrats think the worst Democrats is better than the best Republican. This is seen in the polarization and ultra high partisanship we have today.

Quite correct 90% of Republicans aren't and aren't supporters of there neocon establishment types. That like it or not leaves Trump or Dem crazies ergo Trump has ninety percent support.

I like some of the anti war things Trump has done or attempted to do .. some things he said he wanted to do have been blocked by the establishment.

Other things however are unpalatable to more than 10% of Republicans - a whole lot more I would guess. You have not presented back up for your number so it is difficult to say more.

The use of Donnie Dirty Hands or Donnie Little Hands is legitimate use of descriptive attributes that pertain to Trump.
