Tell Israel to nuke the whole Middle East into the dustbin of history; afterwards, she can pick up the pieces and rebuild. The whole world will be better without Islamic tyrannies, and the Arabs and the Palestinians will thank their Jewish star.

The fly and the gorilla, both do not want to fight. Buz a little bit to close and the gorilla with smash you without even noticing.

So let me get this straight; The US and Trump in particular are interested in talking to the Houthi's presumably about peace, and fires his National Security Advisor due to disagreements about it, and then these people who have everything to gain from these talks, go rouge and attack Saudi Arabia oil fields knowing it is the end of any talks and will pressure Trump into retaliatory strikes....... Yea sounds plausible to me.. And the timing could not be better. Hmm.

The Saudis who paid for 9/11, sponsor state murder of journalists, and have been committing genocide on the people of Yemen are anything but our ally and we need to extremely suspicious of anything having to do with them.

I love your theory, but I am not sure this particular incident can be put on the Saudis.

Iran's top leadership, incidentally, is opposed (vehemently) to any talks with the US, even if the US lifts sanctions. Iran's government (president Rouhani and Foreign Minister Zarif) have been explicitly barred from any negotiations with the US. But the idea that Rouhani might meet with Trump anyway, is somehow stuck in Trump's mind. And he might know something I don't.

Quite simple, some old guys, can built extremely sophisticated remote controlled airplanes in their backyards. 1 to 4 engines, jets, copters of all kind. With electronics which used to be state of the art military 10 years ago.
GPS, gyros, stall warning, automatic fly home with landing and so on and so on. All with parts bought on the internet.
They are not just outstanding builders, they are programming wizards, make their own plans on the PC and than transform the data for their CNC machines. They manufacture their own carbon parts and so on. When they are finished they have a miniature marvel of technologies, which works as good as the 1:1
Heck they even built their own motors or turbines from scratch and that's their hobby, amateurs, with a very limited budget.

Now think about a cheap throw away plane, for a single purpose, start, fly as much in a straight line as possible, with little altitude changes, slow and than crash, its not so hard to built, because all the electronics can be bought, modified, programmed etc.
They do not need Iranians or North Koreans, just one of those old farts and their backyard shop.
I am really surprised that we have not had any terrorist attacks with a multi rotor toy drone. A DJ transmitter has 6-7 kilometer range and you fly that thing by the built in monitor, you even don' have to see it anymore.

It would be really remarkable of the Houthi rebels if they did what they say they did. Everyone knows that a terrorist group will always take the credit for terrorism against one of their enemies. It's their bragging rights whether or not they managed to get 10 drones to attack the Saudi oil infrastructure or not. That would mean they managed to get 10 drones to fly through Saudi Arabian air space with tens of billions of dollars worth of air defenses without so much as an alert. There was no satellite imagery or tracking of vehicles in the air that would make the Saudi case that the drones came from Yemen.

There's nothing that provides a convincing case that backs up Mike Pompeo's threatening statement earlier today. I think this is a setup by the US and the Saudis' to bag Iran for the deed.

Negotiations between enemy nations are most often carried out through third parties. Iran has the most to gain from improved relations with the US while Israel and Saudi Arabia have the most to lose. ln my experience, you always follow the money to find the truth....

Boeing seems to specialize in giving away US military technology - probably good for business.

It is undeniable that the US overthrew the legitimate government in Iran in 1953. How many times has Iran overthown the government of the US?
What is the legal basis of US sanctions against Iran?

If some old fart back garden model builders, can put out technical marvels, why should not some Houthis built a rather primitives drone.
They are not all uneducated people, some might have gone to college in Iran, Europe or even in the US. It is not rocket science to built a short range kamikaze drone

The Kingdom has a half a century history of having other folk fight their wars. They have a first class military but never use it seriously in its own defense. Their strategy worked as long as the USA imported their oil. Perhaps the time for them to step up and defend their own interests is at hand. One can rest assured the folk buying Gulf oil won't do anything serious to help.

Oil is traded internationally. If the oil prices internationally go up, so does Russian oil.
So get ready for higher oil and gasoline prices.

I'm not saying it's rocket science to build a drone... however there were nineteen points of impact... so you would need home made drones with reconnaissance drones that can fly in a pack of a minimum of twenty... undetected... with missiles. My god we better get some spec ops to that Houthi nursing home asap

Look I understand the need to blame the Houthi's and only the Houthi's, Trump is locked and loaded and so is Iran, we are also on the cusp of a global financial meltdown... and Iran is hardly standing alone... it's bad

Are they sure this wasn't a cruise missile attack from Iran or Iraq?

If this was actually drones, we could be looking in a few years at every vulnerable public building, sports stadium or city center having to install some kind of drone defense system.

Heathrow Airport dodged a protest by radical environmentalists intending to disrupt the airport via a massed drone strike “because Heathrow – unlike the Saudis – has installed a sophisticated jamming system that is specifically designed to prevent drones flying inside a five kilometer exclusion zone. Such jammers are part of a huge new industry that has grown up with, on the one hand, enthusiasts able to buy drones in any electronics store and the defense industry selling systems to prevent drones flying over vulnerable targets around the world.”
