    Now what?
    Nothing!
    They just confirmed it's "unidentified"
Even if they got crystal clear HD video it would never show the aliens
It's not like those UFOS have a windshield or windows

They call them UAPs or UFOs but they still dont know positively what they are, how could they
We will know for sure when one lands and something climbs out and either kills us or tries to talk to us

Yes, but this is the first time the US Government has actually admitted the existence of UFO's. That is a 180 degree change in policy. That's pretty dramatic, and it opens the door to additional disclosures.

I doubt this is the first time the US has admitted that they don't know what an airborne object is.

That is not what I said, until now the "official government position" was that there was no evidence UFO's existed, which is the same as UFO's do not exist.
Now they are admitting they do. This opens the door for many witnesses to tell their story, where they would have been suppressed before.

Yes, that is what UFO means... Unidentified as opposed to IFO's

Please point to any "official government position" that states that no flying object has ever gone unidentified.

If you understand what the letters UFO stand for, and elsewhere you admit you do, then it isn't twisting anything. You are that literate.

No one knows what they are, but up until now the Governments position has been there was no evidence they existed. The effect of that has been to question the sanity of anyone who even claimed to see one.

That has suppressed reports from airline pilots, military, police, and others filing reports, or even admitting they had witnessed one. By admitting they exist, the government has opened the door for people to report and admit witnessing UFO's without fear of loosing their jobs or being accused of being crazy. This should result in many more reports and possibly some answers about what is really going on..

It was unclassified to begin with. If that doesn’t tell you it’s uninteresting then you’re looking for kooky **** to believe in anyways.

We deal with this stuff all of the time. Most of the time it ends up being identified but sometimes it’s a mystery and we move on. The fact it was operating in a defined operating area tells me it’s terrestrial. Unless aliens use our aeronautical charts and read NOTAMs.

You seem to be putting out a lot of BS here.. No one ever said it was classified, that was never the issue. The thread is about the Navy's admission for the first time publicly that UFO officially exist, after many decades of the official line, no evidence of UFO exist.
No one said anything about aliens, so don't go there.
There is the issue of the thing moving off so fast the sensors could not track it. Movement like that would suggest it was unmanned. The real question is what is the propulsion.

Week 3 of the NFL season starts Thursday evening.

The government will continue to fabricate fake news and false flags, and the media will continue to ask no questions. It will still be true that if you can get them asking the wrong questions, you don't have to worry about answers.

Life goes on, and likely all ET's have a very low opinion of the human species.

Likely the propulsion is related to Element 115. There is no heat signature. Some theorize that gravity is being manipulated.

Or negative mass particles. These were recently made by passing a certain type of laser through some exotic matter. Which I figure means secret govt-affiliated R&D have already had it for years or longer.

What BS? I actually have experience. My point was that it was unclassified to begin with, so that should tell you that it’s not a big deal to the DoD. If that’s not clear enough, the point is who gives a ****?

You are misrepresenting the DoD’s position that it claims that UFOs don’t exist. They acknowledge UFOs all of the time, but they deny evidence of extraterrestrial UFOs. That’s not the case here.

Sensors lose track of a lot of things for a lot of reasons other than speed, but that’s about all that can be said on that. I would have to talk to the pilot to figure out what he saw to make a good guess as to what it was if I really wanted to know.

Given what we know about the goings-on in the Nevada desert, ANYTHING is possible.

For me, the larger point regarding the Navy footage is that the objects basically violated most of the laws of physics as humans know them. Incomplete knowledge, no doubt.
