Yes, I'm really curious, if somewhat suspicious, of this allegation. I sat through close to 3 years of fake russian conspiracy claims, and they keep on coming with no evidence.

I didn't. Rupert Murdoch's newspaper did. And if the right is going to go against Rupert... what do they have left?

Well to be honest, I'm not expecting evidence in the traditional sense, although I'm sure there will be plenty of anonymous sources.

Oh you mean the President of the United States is investigating what illegal actions Biden may have taken in Ukraine.

If he's innocent, he should welcome the investigation.

But sure, we'll take on anyone. What's one more defeated enemy?

Nor Trump. And he's the only one in this story we know for sure acted illegally.

so far there is no evidence of that.

Sorry, but after all of this time of woofing russian conspiracy theories and coming up empty every single time, maybe... just maybe you might want to be able to put something after the word "because" because credibility is a bit lacking now.

So you are saying that Trump is not innocent because he doesn't welcome the investigation of this by Congress. Yeah... he needs to turn over the whistleblower's report to Congress. Show that he didn't do anything wrong.

As for Biden, he may welcome the investigation. Which includes Trump turning over the whistlebolwer's complaint. Ask him.

Yes they did. They set up shell companies to launder their donations through, and these companies donated to the Trump campaign, as well as a number of pro-Trump, Anti-Clinton PAC's.

The FEC also was investigating the NRA for allow Russia to use them to launder Trump's donations.

Yea well, I'm still waiting for dagdad to come up with interefering with our elections evidence, and now I'm waiting for evidence that this happened.

How's that Mueller investigation coming along? Any day now, right?

He didn't technically did not promise the $250,000,000 what he was put the aid on hold and "apparently " would release it if the Ukes dug dirt on Biden's son and Biden.

    huh?

Look, this ambiguous stuff really isn't helping. You need to get into the weeds. You mention quid pro quo, but that's what the Ukraine thing is all about. Why did Biden's son get a really really good job that he's not qualified for after daddy went to Ukraine when he was VP?

We're looking for that now. There might be some quid pro quo, but what could Biden have offered in return? Ain't nobody woofing stuff now, but we might in the future once we have something called "evidence".

    something you don't have.

Trump's activities are so extreme they are driving a potential war with Iran to the back pages.

I predicted yesterday on another thread, "If Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire doesn't come clean next week in his Congressional hearings, what Trump did will be all over the front pages by next Friday," referring to the whistleblower complaint.

I was right and I was wrong with that prediction.

I was right in the sense that the media would quickly get its hands on the story.

I was wrong in the sense that it is happening right now, not a week from now. I should have known. The Wall Street Journal broke the story, as did the Washington Post.

The Post writes, "The big, unanswered questions here are essentially: Did Trump make some kind of promise to a foreign government (apparently Ukraine) that would involve using official government resources ($250 million in military aid) for personal gain. And if he didn’t make a promise, how persistent were his efforts to gain foreign assistance?

"Thanks to reporting from The Washington Post’s national security team this week, though, we now know that this whistleblower’s complaint involves Trump and alleges that he made some kind of a “promise” to a foreign leader. We then learned that the complaint involves Ukraine. By Friday afternoon, we learned Trump had pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a July 25 call to launch an investigation involving the Bidens. (The Wall Street Journal first reported that and said Trump pressed Zelensky on the matter about eight times)."

Politico reported in an August 28 article, "The Trump administration is slow-walking $250 million in military assistance to Ukraine, annoying lawmakers and advocates who argue the funding is critical to keeping Russia at bay."

Trump maintains his innocence, of course. First, he says, “It doesn’t matter what I discussed,” when it matters a great deal what was discussed. Then he said his phone call with President Zelensky had been “a beautiful conversation."

All of which begs a question. If Trump is innocent, why is he hiding?

Acting Director of National Intelligence Maguire has refused to share the whistleblower complaint with Congress as required by law, and the White House Office of Legal Counsel has been involved in efforts to keep it from Congress.

Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, insisted to CNN’s Chris Cuomo that he didn’t ask Ukrainian officials to investigate Biden — but then, less than 30 seconds later, did a complete about-face and admitted that “of course” he did just that.

Did you see the word "if" in my post? If not read it again.

This is all so ambiguous that it's meaningless.

What did Trump promise? Money that had already been allocated by congress, yes? Trump can't buy a roll of toilet paper on the tax payer dime unless it's already been allocated via the budget.

What did he ask for? You don't know.

You don't have a crime, dude. What you have is a lot of ambiguous BS that doesn't specify a crime.

and I'm still waiting on that election interference charge which I'm predicting will never be referenced for at least a day, before it's thrown out there without any evidence once again.

I didn't read any evidence, so I'm assuming that it's possible, hence the word "if".

    You got nothing so far.

What truly amazes me is that you think Trump asking a foreign government to assist him in his reelection is a legitimate use of power by the executive branch.

"The Trump administration is slow-walking $250 million in military assistance to Ukraine, annoying lawmakers and advocates who argue the funding is critical to keeping Russia at bay." Connecting the dots suggested by the timing, Trump was using the $250M as an inducement.

This is all okay to you. We need to make sure people like you don't chose our President again.

This is all great. While the howler monkey lefties post manufactured drama, President Trump keep rolling along appoi Ted judges that will be a pain in their ass for decades.
MAGA, one judge at a time.

    and the crime is.... ?

Look, Trump can do that all day long. It's not a crime, nor is it interfering with an election.

And then he denied it again, and then he again confessed and said "he was proud of it".

Of all the characters in this Administration who will end up in Jail, Giuliani is the one I will miss the most. I don't know what the hell they're waiting to disbar him.
