Yes, we feel bad now that liberal communists have showed us we are racists and imperialists who acquired wealth on the backs of others and worshiped a false fascist Christian God. We are not worthy of reproduction and even if we were we cant afford it because the libcommies made the economy so inefficient.

 

Hispanics are not an ethnic group, they are a language group. Hispanics can be white, black, native American, Asian or mixed (most common).

Yes, there are some Hispanics that exist that are White, of Spanish heritage, but the U.S. doesn't get many of those.

Whites are giving birth which was the topic now you're talking about net white population? The net reduction might be attributed to whites being older? And you need to define 'white'? White meaning only European descent? What do we call those from the Middle East or parts of Africa that are near to Europe? If a black person and white person have a baby...is the baby white or black? The US is a melting pot of immigrants so over time we might expect changes in ethnicities...

Wanting more leisure time and personal freedom; not having a partner yet; not being able to afford child-care costs — these were the top reasons young adults gave for not wanting or not being sure they wanted children, according to a new survey conducted by Morning Consult for The New York Times.

But it’s also a story of economic insecurity. Young people have record student debt, many graduated in a recession and many can’t afford homes — all as parenthood has become more expensive. Women in particular pay an earnings penalty for having children.

“We want to invest more in each child to give them the best opportunities to compete in an increasingly unequal environment,” said Philip Cohen, a sociologist at the University of Maryland.

I can guess that women in general cannot achieve an equitable position in the economy as long as they typically are burdened with pregnancy, birth, childcare for first couple of years, health issues, etc. while the male is reasonably free from these encumbrances. As long as the male is considered the 'bread winner', while the female is burdened with children, it's no surprise to me why more women are not interested so much in kids. It sort of comes down to an emotional decision over an economic decision, or achieving one's potential, to have kids or not...

 

Maybe women in cities have more career opportunities than they used to, but it's also because their expenses (housing, cost of college) are greater, so they're under more pressure to work.

Also a big part of this story is that women are having a harder time finding a man who can afford to provide for her family.
When men earn less money, women have fewer children.

 

Broke men are hurting American women's marriage prospects

There's a devastating shortage of men who have their act together, according to a new study that may not be so surprising to all the single ladies out there.

Research now suggests that the reason for recent years' decline in the marriage rate could have something to do with the lack of "economically attractive" male spouses who can bring home the bacon, according to the paper published Wednesday in the Journal of Family and Marriage.

"Most American women hope to marry, but current shortages of marriageable men -- men with a stable job and a good income -- make this increasingly difficult," says Daniel Lichter in a press release.

Lichter adds that unless your dream man is an Uber driver, the dearth of would-be grooms is prominent "in the current 'gig economy' of unstable, low-paying service jobs."

To investigate the man drought, researchers created profiles of potential husbands, based on real husbands as logged in American Community Survey data. They then compared these hypothetical spouses with actual unmarried men.

They found that a woman's made-up husband makes 58 percent more money than the current lineup of eligible bachelors. This study reveals large deficits in the supply of potential male spouses, the study concludes.​

 

Or maybe they just don't want to spend decades of their prime adult lives raising economic cannon fodder for Wall Street parasites to rob and enslave.
