It is finally happening folks. The democrats are heading forward with impeachment. Trump will be impeached and the GOP with full proof after they get the transcripts, that Trump tried to blackmail a foreign leader to give him info about a political rival, will either have to vote to remove or show America that they care more about party than country.

Good grief I can not wait for Trump to go down as the first President to be impeached for non political reasons (Nix resigned) he will be forever tarnished as a traitor to the country and those who support him will go down in worse light then the confederates.

Oh and I should say, people of the left (or just those against Trump if you are on the right) Do not praise Pelosi, she has been a useless granny for 9 months and only after being pushed by a super majority of her party, has she finally and reluctantly agreed to move on impeachment, I hope she is placed with Trump and Mitch as the terrible trio and primaried so she can spend the rest of her days in a nursing home!

Trump is neither smart enough to try and bait or to successfully bait. He colluded with Ukraine by threatening funds, against who he thinks will be the nominee. It is recorded and just like Nixon he is going down.

You best bet, if there is physical evidence of his exact words, that some GOP senators are not willing to go down with Trump. They only let him get away with things because they have not been forced to put in stone, I support the traitor.

Let us all thank those 40-50 dem congressmen from red districts elected on their promise of bipartisanship and moderation for their services and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.

They were not elected on bipartisanship they were elected on holding the president accountable and working for Americans.

There was no blackmail, there was not quid pro quo (even the Dems have given up on that one). The President has a responsibilty and a DUTY to insure any taxpayer money being sent to a foreign government is not going to go down a corruption black hole in a country ripe with corruption as Ukraine has been for years. The only blackmailing was done by Biden. Was he impeached?

They were elected not to engage in a political coup and an unfounded impeachment.

Wait, now he said he held back the money because Europe should kick in.
AND how did he carry out his duty? Did Ukraine do something to ease his concerns? Did he raise any corruption in the call other than that which involved his opponent?

I have a personal stake in this matter. Last year I placed a $500 bet at 9-1 that Trump would be impeached in 2019. However, unless the Democrats quit lolligagging and get to it, I will not collect my $5000. Come on guys, impeach the prick already!!!

A president using his office to pressure a foreign government to dig up dirt on a political opponent who has not been charged with any U.S. crimes is a clear abuse of office. Pelosi isn't happy about it, but feels she has no choice.

Honestly, Trump abuses his office, and ALSO claims that as president he can't even be investigated, all while refusing to cooperate with Congress' legitimate oversight functions. It doesn't matter what you think of Trump's policies; that's just indefensible.

Maybe Senate Republicans will realize this is an opportunity to ditch Trump, and that President Pence (gack) is a perfectly acceptable alternative.

Impeachment, which I still oppose for practical reasons, will accomplish two things: 1) It shall assist the American people in uncovering more of what Fake Don is hellbent upon hiding from them and, 2) It shall induce even greater hysteria in Fake Don, causing him to lash out irrationally and viciously even more than usual, thus further exposing his narcissism-driven instability.

Who won't enjoy even more of his turbo-charged, ego-driven, flights from reality ?

    What new evidence?

Pelosi is making this statement without seeing the actual transcript.

Another, "we have to pass the bill to see what is in it," moment.

This time it is, "we have to start impeachment to see if there is a reason to impeach."

A President seeking the cooperation of a foreign government in a corruption scheme is not only his duty but expected. We know Biden's son for some inexplicable reason on it's face was paid HUGELY and enrich himself with money from foreigners some of that while on trips with his father the VP. We know Biden blackmailed a foreign government to the benefit of his son. Why shouldn't that be investigated?

He hasn't opposed legitimate oversight of the Executive branch. The President doesn't work for them.

Maybe the Democrats should consider that.

Great fun. Very entertaining. I really like the kerfuffle on the left without any evidence. It is Russia collusion all over again. Politics never learns from its mistakes.

Or it shall assist the American people in deciding to kick the Democrats out of office exposing their faux hysteria for what it has been all along.
