thought this was an interesting article: https://www.marketwatch.com/story/w...d-cost-american-companies-billions-2019-09-26 During my career working for mid to large companies politics was never really discussed at work. Over lunch or beers it was, but never brought back to the shop. I now work at home for a small company, we talk politics more freely. most of us are libs, but we have a huge trump fan. We all tolerate each other and keep it light, no conflict at all. But when we visit customers or partners, we keep it mum. In fact we will take whatever side the customer has on politics - good salesmanship. Perhaps it’s not an issue at my company because we are all independent workers and do not spend hours at a time doing repeatable tasks. What do you see in your workplace these days?
We're pretty much all conservatives here, but still are careful about talking politics at work. Not really a subject for polite conversation.
Agree with Perdidochas. Personal life is kept personal. Work related conversations only with the exclusion of idle gossip about co-workers/management.
