How many average voters understand the difference between an Inquiry, a Formal Inquiry or actually following House rules to begin an impeachment proceeding by forming a Select Sub Committee and a final decision to bring the evidence to a full House vote? Perception is everything. All most people hear on TV is, They're going to impeach the dude.

It's a risky gambit that Pelosi is being forced into by her petulant "squad." She's been through it with Clinton. Video clips are already being aired of her stating her opposition to the Clinton Impeachment. Special Prosecutor Kent Starr and others have said it is political suicide. All major polls are unfavorable of impeachment.

If she doesn't retract her recent statement of a "Formal Impeachment Inquiry," it will soon be too late. If democrats proceed, it is very probable that it won't end well for them for the 2020 elections and well beyond.
