Even though, he has said this and taken Parliament hostage...
He is STILL the lesser or two evils.

    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/20...s-briefing-back-sacked-pm-tells-rebel-tories/
Which is rather STUPID since he has a majority of 1 and some Tory MPs aren't even planning on sitting anymore who don't want a No Deal since somebody asked them.
    ...
It's all coming back to me now, how I didn't like him as mayor.
I hated Boris Johnson as Mayor of London, if I'm honest, LOVE HIS PLAN, HIS VISION, even his cult of personality bombastic well spoken gentleman self but... I remember now that I didn't actually like him as Mayor of London.

Don't cross the floor or you lose the party whip, what a radical idea in the Westminster system...

60% of Brits according to poll after poll now support Leave/Brexit.

Come next General Election and these traitorous scum in Parliament don't do the job they were elected to do then they will simply have to be sacked from office. All of them. And be replaced with pro-Brexit officials.

I love Boris for exactly this. He's based, gives zero F's and tell them exactly what needs to be done and what he's doing. Boris should have been elected from the start.

Farage should have moved over to the Tories and Boris hire him into a suitable position. Farage would be better off there.

Ye, tho the Brexit party is also putting a whole lot of pressure on Labour by taking members who are Labour at heart but voted Leave. Labour have lost some 10-15% in terms of support and Tories have gained 10% ever since Boris took the reigns of the Conservative party.

I'm going to enjoy watching as Remainers go bananas come 31st of October and Brexit have been fulfilled.

If anything, these 3 years have enabled people to see their "representatives" for what they truly are: Traitors drowning in self-interest.

How exactly do you see Brexit being acheived by 31st Oct?
Britain has only 3 weeks left to come up with a new deal, get it passed by Parliament and present it to the EU for approval.

I've just done a post on a thread pointing out the two types of "representatives" and those representatives who believe they can ignore their constituents and vote what they want, is causing this unprecedented mess in parliament, in a word, tyranny.

    You have two choices:
    a) Remainers to get off their sorry asses and work with Leavers for a deal both sides can actually agree on, aka compromise. And then present it to the EU. Whether the EU wants to accept the deal or not is up to them.
    or
    b) No deal, plain and simple.

The people voted to Leave, deal or no deal. Whether a deal was to be achieved is up to the government. The government, being mainly pro-Remain, have failed to deliver a sensible deal that people will actually accept.

Whatever happens on the 31st, happens. Deal or no deal the UK is leaving the EU.

    Democracy = Mob rule
    Minority rules = Tyranny

I will pick democracy over tyranny any day.

Many MPs represent constituencies who voted to remain. Should they ignore their constituents?
How about the members of the ERG who voted against a deal to leave the EU no less than 3 times, are they ignoring their constituents?

No deal is unlawful, are you suggesting that Boris should break the law again and refuse to ask for an extension on the 17th October?

It wasn't just remain voting MPs who refused to back May's withdrawal deal.
Why were they not prepared to compromise?

We could have left in March if the likes of Boris and Rees Mogg had voted for the deal but they were more concerned with advancing their own political careers than leaving.

"Unlawful", as in something the Remoaners pushed as a "law" because they can't stand the very concept of leaving the EU.

They've done everything up until this point to try and backtrack, obstruct and pretty much ruin a democratically held referendum that didn't go in their favor. This "law" is nothing more than a farce and will be treated as such. Come the 31st the UK will leave, deal or no deal. If Boris have to "break the law" in order to achieve it, then so be it.

When people's will are not respected you see the results as they are now: More people support Leave than ever before. If anything it's exposed those who take the word "democracy" for granted, not knowing how a democracy actually work. In ANY democracy you will always have winners and losers. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. Remainers have been sore losers for years, and it's showing everyone, including those overseas, that Remainers have zero respect for the concept of democracy.

It wasn't a deal. It was a surrender. The kind of "deal" a country gives when surrendering during wartime.

Hence why people rejected it and rightly so. End of story.

The UK is a Representative Democracy and America is a Republic with an element of Representative Democracy. So I vote for a politician to represent me in parliament and you vote for a politician to represent you in the Senate.

A representative democracy creates two types of representatives. A one who takes their voters wishes to government and says, "This is what my voters say and so I'll vote this way to deliver their wishes". The other type goes to government and says, "My people elected me because they believe I will have their best interests at heart and so I vote this way, my way".

And that's what happened with Brexit. An element of MP's have chosen to be the latter, gone to parliament and said, "My constituents haven't a clue what's best for them, they were stupid on the Brexit vote, so I believe it's in their best interests that I stick two fingers up at them and vote for deal/remain". And when you have a minority rule over the majority, that's tyranny, and if it's allowed to manifest, you will have a tyrannical government.

David Cameron gave the decision to the people and a tyrannical element of MP's don't like the result. Boris did the right thing, sacked the tyrants out of the Conservative party.

To be honest, a certain element of Tories should have been booted out years ago. Ken Clarke a prime example.

I know the difference between a Republic and a Democracy and the variations of them.

We're talking about a minority of voters who are whining about the referendum not going their way, not the elected officials themselves. The minority who go around claiming "Leave didn't know what they were voting for", showing people they are sore losers and unable to accept the result of a Leave/Remain vote despite the cries of wanting to hold a referendum on the topic. Remain lost, and are now behaving like children.

As for the officials themselves, yes, some of them behave like total tyrants.

Do you want sovereignty to belong to Parliament or not?
Maybe you think that a career politician should be able to overrule Parliamentary Supremacy?
If you want dictatorship from an unelected leader just come out and say it. Stop misusing the word democracy and admit that you don't want democracy if it doesn't ''surrender'' to your Nationalistic ideals.

Sovereignty belong to the people. A government represents and serve the people, not the other way around.

If the elected officials don't follow the will of the people, in this case, Leave, then they are not fit for the office they hold and ought to be booted out of office. Simple as that.

Boris is acting out the will of the people, deal or no deal. That is not a dictatorship. That is common sense. Why do you have such an issue with it?

Also, if you are going to claim that public opinion is moving more and more towards leaving then show some evidence. The polls have consistently shown that remain would win a second referendum.

Because it is no longer the will of the people now that they are far better informed about the consequences of leaving the EU.

The same polls you're citing also said that Remain would win. And yet, here we are with Remain NOT having the majority vote. :roflol:

    Keep dreaming, mate.

Oh, and you still haven't refuted anything in the videos I posted above.

Is it? You cite polls like gospel. The same polls that said that we'd be sitting with a Remain majority. The same polls that said Hillary would win. The same polls that are being used to confuse and manipulate the public, not inform them. Polls are used as nothing more than a means of manipulation nowadays and is one of the reasons the vast majority of people take what they say with a grain of salt.

People were indeed informed about the consequences. They voted for Leave anyway after weighing the pros and cons. You however have not bothered to inform yourself which wherein lies the difference.

No, the polls I'm citing have been taken since the referendum. They show a consistent support for remain for over 18 months.

If you have no faith in polls then why did you quote the 60% support for leave stat that Boris got from torturing and misrepresenting poll stats?

    These are your own words.
What next in your desperate attempt to cover for the fact you still won't admit you have been lied to since day one?
Are you going to tell me that we'll have £350 million a week to spend on the NHS? You may be happy to stay uninformed but please don't try and accuse me of it.

There isn't a single genuine reason for someone to vote leave.
Not based on reality. The vote leavers voted on ignorance and lies.
Return of sovereignty was a classic one. We have always had sovereignty as demonstrated by our keeping the pound and our independent courts.
Controlling our own borders, always have. We are not part of Schengen and have all the powers needed to restrict immigration. For example, we have the power to legislate that EU immigrants return home after a set period if they cannot support themselves. We just never took that option.
We have the power to refuse entry to non-EU migrants and have used that power, hence the Sangatte camp of refugees in France.
Not having EU regulations forced on us, they aren't. All new reg's and laws have to be passed by Parliament and we have a veto to block any we don't want the EU to adopt.
Ability to trade with nations outside the EU. We already do. Either with freetrade deals with nations which have such agreements with the EU or with WTO terms with those which don't.

Now you give me 5 ways in which life outside the EU will be better.
No feelz, actual improvements to our lives.
