    Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders has undergone emergency surgery for a blocked artery after experiencing “chest discomfort” during a campaign event, forcing him to cancel upcoming events, his campaign reported.

    The Vermont senator had two stents inserted to relieve a blocked artery after feeling unwell during a campaign event on Tuesday, his campaign reported later that night, adding that Sanders “is conversing and in good spirits.” Campaign events and appearances have been cancelled “until further notice” while he recovers.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    So scratch 78 year old Bernie from the list of contenders. Ditto Clueless Joe. So who's left? Warren?
    Go, Tulsi, go!!!!!
    It was a routine surgery (Bush the Lesser had something similar). The man is already back in the fray and preping for the next debate. lol
    Um, in the middle of a vital time in the election cycle? He's done and I don't understand why he is still running. He's a drain on someone that might carry these issues
    ...Only for the ones who can afford it. When only a small percentage can get that quality or it bankrupts them, what use is it? Bernie has a government plan, meaning he is on what single payer would be right now. So no, just a terrible joke and terrible timing. How low will you go to try and backup your falsehoods?
    When Congress wrote a law exempting them selves from Obamacare, that should have given EVERYONE a clue.
    Really... Wow. Obamacare is mostly a subsidized for profit marketplace so I'm not sure how you can "excempt" yourself from that. It's there whether you are using it or not.
    Hmmm...
    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/congress-illegal-and-egregious-obamacare-exemption-explained
    Contrary to assurances and in violation of federal law, the Obama administration shielded lawmakers from an effective pay cut of up to $12,000 each by granting Congress several types of special treatment unavailable to the public. It deemed Congress eligible to participate in D.C.'s small-business exchange, though both federal and D.C. law prohibit it.
    Yep, regardless if this is a spin, it's a mess, whole healthcare system needs to be repealed and replaced.Thank you Bernie.
    Personally I take anything I read on that site with a grain of salt and look somewhere else, anywhere else for the same information. The Washington examiner is notoriously overtly bias, even more so than other MSM networks.
    ...So, not sure why single payer or obamacare was brought up. Getting back to the topic. Just glad Bernie is doing well and has good coverage. Many people do not.
    I support Tulsi as well. Like Trump, she has all the right haters.
    I think either Warren will get the nomination or they'll pull in a no name at the last second.
    Will they draft Hillary? In 2016, she supposedly owned the DNC. If she does so still, she could get "drafted" to run for a 3rd time.
    The empirical data shows single payer systems provide better care at a fraction of the cost of our for profit system. And Bernie has single payer insurance, lol. Total fail on your part.
    Bernie Sanders is a US Senator, he has a Platinum top of the line health plan, that is absolutely NOTHING near even close to being single payer
    Didn't Bill Clinton have heart troubles and had to get stents, sometime during one of Hillary Clinton's runs for President? He's still around and kicking.
    Now, unless Bernie Sanders suffered brain damage I think he's still fine to run for President.
    Sanders haters grabbing any 'good' news they can. lol Even if he does die in office, that's what VPs are for and his age/health isn't any worse than Trump's so it's a silly thing to worry about unless Trump somehow loses his Primary.
