Trump is a pathetic joke but the democrats play right into his hands with their obsession with Russia and now impeachment.

This is a theme I hear repeated over and over again. I used to live in a Red state, then we turned purple now we are sadly blue, thanks to all the liberals that could not wait to escape liberal hell and leave California, but they never learn, they vote for the same kind of idiots that did in California. I know a lot of liberals and independents and although Trump may not win Colorado what you just wrote is a sentiment I hear every day. Independents and some democrats are "Woke" and they realize that voting democrat gets you nothing but triple health care premiums and men in girls bathrooms. What else has the democrat party delivered on in decades?

Nothing since they adopted Reagan's failed neoliberal policies in the nineties resulting in an obscene gap between the rich and working people. Most of the so-called "free stuff" has gone to the 1% with the middle and lower class paying much more for housing, education and health care, which has paved the way for demagogues like Trump preaching hate against immigrants and room temperature IQ rhetoric instead of adult policies. But most democrats give no reason for people to vote for them either so we're bleeped.

Same I'll vote for Trump as things stand now. I'm tired of the media gaslighting people instead of just reporting the facts and letting people decide.

Didn't the Democrats lose more ground in the Senate in 2018? Yet they act like they dominated 2018

...because it provides a free shot for Turkey to slaughter our Kurdish allies and also makes it more likely that ISIS can resurface, than Russia will feel emboldened in the region, and undercuts any future statement by American leaders that America will protect its allies.

While I would consider "pathetic joke" grounds for impeachment, under the more formal definition of "unfit for office", I suppose we'll have to stick with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress...

Most Democrats I talk to don't have an "obsession with Russia" either.. that's a Trump meme with little to back it up... Once Mueller was looking into it in May 2017, the Dems went elsewhere, until they were elected in 2018 to put some checks and balances into our system of checks and balances..

But a "couple dozen" troops stopped that?

American leaders need to protect American troops first and foremost

Don't forget! Dukakis appeared to be winning until he blew it.
The Democratic Party is champion and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Truly believe Tulsi Gabbard is the only candidate who could defeat Trump.
And that's because she makes sense, military service, offers alternatives to incessant Not At War, Wars.
I bet those Trump States bleed more per capita than the Blue.
And speaking to senseless deployments will sway some of those States to Blue.
Democratic Party loyalist, and independents and Red State cross over voting.
What other Democrat candidate would have such an attraction to voters?

Lol, now the Dems are channeling neocons and want the US to continue being the policeman of the world and indefinitely occupy foreign lands. I suppose It's only colonization, warmongering and military industrial complex when Republicans do it. Too funny lol

PS i am not even disagreeing with you on merits, i am merely pointing out the left's absurd knee jerk reaction to absolutely anything Trump does.

I'm still a fence sitter, went Johnson in 16' but mainly as a protest vote because I hated both candidates.
I struggled big time with picking McCain in 08 and Romney in 12 but they received my chad anyway.

I still don't LIKE trump as a person, but as far as the agenda goes, i'm 100% on board.
Plenty of time for me to decide, i'm willing to have an open mind until the final debates but I can say with certainty that the dem's are not doing anything to push me their direction, if anything they are driving a wedge between me/them so its no looking good.

I have yet to meet a trump 16' supporter that say they are not going to vote for him again, they are all on the trump train.

FWIW, i'm an independent and have voted for both parties in the past, but i'm registered republican because we have a closed primary and I hated getting shut out, if not for that i'd re-register.

Yes, because Turkey fully understand that directly attacking US troops - even a small number - was not a good idea.

I am an independent and see no chance of ever voting for Republicans ever again. That nail was punched halfway in during 2000 and hammered below the surface since 2016...

The party that gives us Jim Jordan, Louis Gohmert, Devin Nunes and Matt Gaetz do not warrant any of my attention.

Your side feels the need to slime people like Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler and Nancy, but other than the ineffectiveness of Nadler this year, I see no comparisons between the general quality of person in my list vs your list.....

America doesn't need to be meddling in every country it never works and usually causes other nations to hate us more. There's nothing in Syria worth risking American lifes.

Still, it would take a minor miracle to get the Senate in Dem hands in 2020.. I'm sure they'll pick up seats and there's a decent chance of getting to 50/50, but full control?? Hard to see that happening...

Still, one of my favorite sayings is "He who defends everything defends nothing"... It will be interesting to see who the R's want to try and save and who they cut loose (McSally? Ernst? Tillis? Collins??). They know Gardner is done and won't spend a dime there..

Then perhaps you would like to learn that Trump is not removing those troops from Syria.

Trump says he’s ending the US role in Syria. That’s not true.
