If the left never won, we'd be living next door to Amish and Quakers, with them being the progressive group.

I don't believe anything you just opinioned.
    Nor should anyone else.
But some factual data would help.

But none of what you posted has anything to do with 1%ers being job creators.

I concede it was posited that Conservatives make great senior managers. It is Liberals that are your creators.

Good to know that you're bigoted against the Amish and Quakers.

It's all the more reason for me to discount your posts.

Didn't they refuse to make their cake?

I don't know about the posited thing.
Some of the largest companies in USA, Microsoft, Ebay, Amazon. I don't think any of the founders or leaders would be considered conservative.

How did you reach such a silly conclusion that I am intolerant of Amish and Quakers?

They refused to make a specific cake. They didn't refuse to serve them.

Any other interpretation is based on the desire to create a false narrative.

Look, I don't have a religious dog in this fight. I am a tolerant and libertarian atheist. The bakers were willing to make a generic wedding cake. We, as a society, should be willing to respect their decision to forgo a sale, rather than produce something that they felt went against their beliefs.

Again, they didn't refuse to serve their customer; unlike those Red Hen clowns.

OK. Maybe I jumped to an inaccurate conclusion. Perhaps you might explain what would be bad about having either of them for neighbors.

    No maybe about it.
I said nothing is bad about having them for neighbors.
What failing point are you trying to make?

Everyone should abandon religion because it is mostly BS. However kicking religion into the gutter does not destroy the modern world. Quite the opposite. It is those who have rejected religion that have given us modernity.

The development of the computer was accomplished overwhelmingly by religion avoiding liberals. In fact, up until about 1990 or so, Evangelicals were claiming the computer was the tool of the devil.

I grew up with Amish on neighboring farms. I played with Amish children and ate meals in their homes. They are the least progressive group in the US and proudly so. They think their god wants them to live like people did in the 1800's.

They were interesting but I'd never want to live like them.

Gallup has a graph in the following article that shows 63% of all Americans though this country was deeply divided back in 1993. 66% in 1998, then only after 9-11 did a majority of Americans think this country was united. By 2005 65% of all Americans were back feeling this country as deeply divided. That rose to 69% in 2013 and climbed to 77% as of 1 Jan 2017. Gallup hasn't updated this since.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/why-are-we-a-divided-nation.562512/

So the perception of this nation being deeply divided has been around ever since Bill Clinton. Perhaps Obama did cause an increase, from 66% up to 77%, but he can't be blamed for it all.

    https://news.gallup.com/poll/197828/record-high-americans-perceive-nation-divided.aspx

Being divided probably began prior to Bill Clinton when our two major parties began a strategy of divide and conquer. Of pitting one group against another, of making grand use of the negative personal attack ads instead of coming up with ideas, solutions to our problems and putting forth a vision of where they want to take America. This whole idea was to get the voter to hate the other guy more than they hate you.

I blame the rhetoric coming from our elected officials and from the two major parties which put forth the notion that the other party is out to destroy this nation, that the other party is evil. This has probably lead to a divided nation more than anything else.

    You can't figure it out?
It certainly isn't intolerance to Amish or Quakers. Nor was there any knock on either of those groups.

You flailing in trying for a gotcha that is apparently only getting you.

And you should discount my posts. They are complicated to you, it seems.

Fine. We all make our choices. Will you disparage them for having made their choice?

    Would I have asked otherwise?

Your lack of answering a simple question does nothing to persuade me that my previous assumption was erroneous.

And look at the individual rights we've been losing since the 2 corrupt parties decided to pit the people against each other, while behind the curtains, they pull the same strings.

This is how I heard it. But it seems like I did hear about one that didn't like the 2 little guys on top. :)

Craig and Mullins visited Masterpiece Cakeshop in Lakewood, Colorado, in July 2012 to order a wedding cake for their return celebration. Masterpiece's owner Jack Phillips, who is a Christian, declined their cake request, informing the couple that he did not create wedding cakes for marriages of gay couples owing to his Christian religious beliefs, although the couple could purchase other baked goods in the store. Craig and Mullins promptly left Masterpiece without discussing with Phillips any of the details of their wedding cake.[2]:2[original research?] The following day, Craig's mother, Deborah Munn, called Phillips, who advised her that Masterpiece did not make wedding cakes for the weddings of gay couples[2]:2[original research?] because of his religious beliefs and because Colorado did not recognize same-sex marriage at the time.[3][2]:1–2

You see what you did there? You ripped the other party and made everything out to be their fault. But then you make your party out to be innocent victims? Well guess what. The people in the other party are doing the same to your party. Thats why we are so divided.

    https://owlcation.com/social-sciences/Why-do-Amish-Pull-Their-Teeth-Out

I'm sorry, but I think this is child abuse, they should take their kids away for doing this to them. I say this as person who lost all their natural teeth in an accident years ago. and has never really had them replaced adequately. It is one thing to be religious and quite another to ruin your kids lives. Fanaticism should be limited, that's really a main purpose of civilization.
