nope, I wish Trump would have avoided this and not withdrew our troops like he did - stupid move on Trump's part after they helped us with ISIS

this conflict was under control and very few soldiers needed to defend it, now Trump is planning to send many more Troops than we had to begin with

You are taking something but not what I said because I never said that but with Turkey being an ally we could have told them not to. I mean after all, we said we would destroy their economy.
So you're ok with losing all influence in the area. An area that has a large Russian influence already. Sure, that makes sense. About as much sense as abandoning an ally.

Maybe you should write to your President and ask him to take his head out of his rear and while he's at it, stop flip flopping like a fish out of water on his decisions. Any decision.

I haven't asked for war or troops, I have just asked that the President of America doesn't trade human souls for political favors. It's a high bar for pragmatists, yes; but it's merely being normal for the moral. How many moral souls are left in America? Obviously, they have all left the Trump administration; obviously, they don't work for or play in the NBA; and obviously, you are not one of them either.

Wonder why their voices aren't allowed to be considered. How difficult is it to say, especially in America, I side with the Hong Kong idealists in their battle for liberty from the CPC. Imagine that, the young, not wanting to be cared for, but to be free to care for themselves. I side with the Kurds and their fight with the dictator Erdogan's version of Islamic totalitarianism. Revolutionary, wouldn't you say? Radical beyond belief.

Here, I'll say it: I stand with Hong Kong. I side with the Kurds in their battle against the Turkey dictator.

See, not hard at all. And what can one soul do about it all? The best one can with what one has to make sure one's position is known. Nothing more, nothing less. Even if it's just a dying ember waiting for a tsunami, at least for that moment it lived and burned--and nothing can wipe out that reality.

We live in sovereign nations, as such must respect the laws and sovereignty of said nations. Did you not see how Democrats here reacted to the mere invention of Russian interference in US politics? You expect the US to intervene on behalf of people that would possibly cause a catastrophic war if taken the wrong way. The moral choice here is to safeguard American lives...

I was wrong, there is a least one player in the NBA who understand both the Kurds and Hong Kong fight against oppression, even if LeBron James isn't knowledgable enough to make an intelligent statement. Enes Kanter, a wanted man in Turkey, can though. He has first-hand knowledge.

    From his tweet:
-Haven’t seen or talked to my family 5 years
    -Jailed my dad
    -My siblings can’t find jobs
    -Revoked my passport
    -International arrest warrant
-My family can’t leave the country
    -Got Death Threats everyday
    -Got attacked, harassed
-Tried to kidnap me in Indonesia

    FREEDOM IS NOT FREE

Its their fight, not mine, not my countrymen, nobody but theirs. You can't give people freedom or they F it all up, they have to earn it themselves...

Bottom line: The President of America ought naught trade human souls; and standing with Hong Kong and the Kurds is the moral stance to take--unless you're pragmatist befuddled by Trump.

See, the ember? It still burns bright.

You seem to have no problem trading American souls for someone else's. I think not. They can earn their freedom without putting my countrymen at risk...

Any possible sanctions will have no ground. Because Trump had already wanted to withdraw from Syria. Our operation became a pretext for him to do so.

Nope, we don't want bordering on with a YPG/PYD/PKK ruling state. We do not have plan to invade. We prefer Assad.

The "report" is a joke. Trump was advised that it would screw Russia and Iran and he was right. Now Russia has to run its forced between Turkey and Syria and we are sitting back laughing. Iran's path to Hezbollah is not met with a blocker. It's good stuff!

We need out of Afghanistan and Iraq next. Let's keep this going.
